I didn't test on the last page / payment. I'm still wondering what to do with the 500 toasters I bought 10 years ago whilst testing if a deal worked and went all the way.
Looking at comments, all is good so heat added and great first post @JonBoy116

Glad it worked. Cheers. For anyone else considering this deal the image below is what you will see after checkout. I opted to pay over five months to get under the wife's radar (shared bank account!) Sneaky 🙃

Damn!! I got really excited for a minute thinking it was an echo spot... I'd have paid another £50 for that combo... It would make more sense to have something you could see the video on.
Still a good deal though.

UK doorbells are typically 8V.

Cheers, I guess I'll disconnect the existing doorbell, connect the Ring to the two wires and get the Mother-in-law to test it for me

Seems to work with all ring products. Tried the stand alone security camera and the dot comes free!
Why expired?
Still working.
Isn't working for me I'm afraid @JonBoy116 ; it's charging for both the Echo Dot and the Ring doorbell
Great ordered. Voted hot.

Do you have to have the protection product they sell to view any time and record
It's working for sure . I am tempted to buy but don't have any use for an additional echo.

Any other bell solutions which are cheaper???

Yes, it's £2.50 per month. Or £25 a year.

Is this doorbell still decent? I was after the Pro Version but this seems a very good deal

Nearly ordered this until I saw and read the 18% of 1 star reviews, think I'll give it a miss.

Don’t get the spot, the echo show 5 is out next week and looks allot more useable (and cheaper?)
I have had ring since 2015 upgrade my gen1 to Pro version last year and no issues whatsoever. Mine is wired using existing Bell wire but I kno someone who has the battery version and after reducing the motion settings they good battery life on the gen2 and also have a spare battery.

The echo will also tell you when someone is at the door based on what name you give it. So one less chime to plug in.

I have an old show in the kitchen... I like seeing my calendar events on there when I come down for my morning coffee, being able to see lyrics when I'm home alone and can sing along while cooking or having a new recipe on there. I might look at the new one for a second room, thank you.

No such deal on the new Ring Door View Cam sadly.

This is the 720p camera ie the oldest and worst resolution. Ring doorbell V2 is 1080p so probably worth a look if you want better resolution but there are better deals to be had without the Echo Dot elsewhere. HTH
Great Deal - Heat added and one ordered on same day delivery!! Can't say that going full HD will make much difference when viewing and definitely not worth the additional 90 quid just for the doorbell

I couldn't agree more regarding the price/ resolution - it's a door bell not a dedicated movie camera- don't need more than 720p to see what the postman looks like! 😁
Ordered the exact same. Can anyone confirm if you have gift vouchers and you go for the monthly option, can gift cards be exchanged and I am assuming that they take payment of the card you paid with?

Hi, is the 720p "fit for purpose" for a doorbell camera or is it better just investing into the 1080p version?
Also any problems with Gen1?
Thanks
Does this come with the chime?
Got you heat, bro. Sweet deal, thanks!
Make it £69 if you sell the echo to CEX. (For a quick sale ofc)
Ordered, thanks!

720p for a doorbell is fine. Resolution isn't everything when it comes to imagery.

Cheers

Not sure why that might be. I have prime so maybe that factors into the deal? Anyway, this is what I saw on the product page:

It does say that im not eligble at the moment might have to have a good history of buying from, not bought from for a good while so might be the case. 😁
Thank you OP, i’ve been looking for a good offer on Ring for a while now. Just ordered - the extra Echo and monthly payments are a greatbonus 🏻
I think I have a cunning plan. I'm going to buy this Ring doorbell and position it to keep an eye on my existing Ring doorbell
Edited by: "poseidonxxx" 19th Jun
How secure are these? how easy would it be for some scumbag to rip it off the wall?
Works for me, thanks!
What's the big difference between this and the V2?
I spy.

I am on Amazon Prime so it could be due to that.
