What their website says:

New sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS)-free Aquamax® Cream is a leave-on emollient for use in eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions.

It has been specifically formulated to exclude common irritants found in so many other emollient treatments. With a high lipid content, it provides an effective barrier that stops moisture escaping from the skin and prevents irritants entering.

Good idea! Do you know if they stock the full range of Aquamax?
Is this a steroid-based cream?
Got low hopes for this. Emolients are technically all the same. There are no active ingredients. Im talking as an eczema sufferer for 27 years
Slightly off-topic, I felt pure unrefined coconut oil really helped me

Yes, I've heard wonderful things about this stuff.
Never heard of this. Might give it a whirl. Anyone tried it before?

Any recommendations for reducing or stopping redness of the cheeks on face?

Problem with coconut oil is that you smell like bounty. Have you tried emulsifying ointment instead? Totally odourless.

You are correct..Every few months someone or the other launches a cream which gets a lot of media coverage . ( None are cheap by the way and the people who launch these make a lot of money)

Many people use it and are very happy and they are heavily promoted in social media.

The interesting thing is that some people with eczema have excellent results with these creams .

While some might contain hidden ingredients like steroids which can cause harm if not used properly , others manage to give good results even with standard ingredients .

My theory is that most people who buy the expensive creams use it regularly as they have paid a lot for it. Unlike the cheap creams which most don't use regularly.

Eczema needs regular emollient use if you want it under control .
Thank you. Heat added, hope this works for my son.
