Argos have opened a new outlet within Sainsbury's Store in Calcot in Reading and as part of thier opening they are offering a free £10 Argos voucher if you spend £50 or more in a single transaction until 5th of July 2015.

I know this will only be useful for limited number of people but thought I should put it out there in case someone benfits.

Spending £50 to get a £10 voucher is not a freebie.....if it is I'll pm you my PayPal and you can send me a "freebie" ;-)

For your benefit -
Argos is a retailer shop, a big one, you might see around high streets (presuming you know what is a high street!?). You can buy stuff from Argos, like you do with any other shops and when you buy stuff from shops you have to pay them money - you with me so far!?
In this case, Argos is giving you £10 back to buy more stuff so in simple terms you will pay £50 but get stuff worth £60 - oh may be this is getting too technical!!

Its worth giving heat just for your response to hc4eva! It is a freebie, like explained. spend fifty quid, and get ten quid for your next purchase for free!

50% of the time it works everytime.

A freebie doesn't require a spend. It's a "bonus", a "reward", or whatever you want to call it, but it's not "a thing given free of charge" so it's not a freebie.

The definition of a "freebie" comes to you, at no charge, from the Oxford Dictionary. Now that's a freebie.

If you actually believe what you have written, you guys must be very easy to scam

At best you are getting £60 of Argos goods for £50 - not very free.

If this post was moved to "Deals" it would probably get some heat.

You spend £50 and get £50 worth of stuff and a £10 voucher to spend at a later date, it's also not free as a person can't just walk in and get said £10 voucher without handing over £50.

Hope that's cleared it all up for you.
