This covers a single person, with home cover, roadside assistance and National Recovery. For two people it's £150! BARGAIN! Far cheaper than the £215 I was quoted for my membership renewal. Loyalty appears to reward the Company not the subscriber, so after 25 years of membership, I told them they could poke their gold card, and their over inflated member benefits.
Quidco are showing a cashback offer of £63 (for Policies between £105 and £150.99 pay in full, new customers only) meaning that this could potentially cost only £45!

Despite their abuse of their loyal membership (I'm not bitter), their service is good, and are voted consistently in the top 5 best breakdown services in the annual polls.

The only caveat I would on this deal is that you don't renew, because it appears loyalty is a reward for them. That is, unless you think your social status is improved by a 'silver' or 'gold' plastic membership card and you enjoy receiving a discount on products and services that appear to relate to RRP rather than the real world. . . . I'm not bitter.

I use rescue my car. The price and service I have had the last 3 years has been outstanding. The price is always half of the big names.
What's wrong with this deal that it's been voted cold?
Even as bitter and twisted as I am, I thought it was a cracking deal: -

Home Start (cover) + roadside assistance + National recovery = £108 - Quidco (£63) = £45!

That's personal cover, not vehicle. . . . Perhaps I need to change the title

The only issue i have with rescue my car Kwikfit and others,Is they wont take you home if they can take you to a local garage first and get you car fixed.Small fix ok but a large job could hurt you bank account/credit card.
Just replacing a battery could be expensive.I called out my breakdon cover.
Kwikfit breakdown and the quoted me for my dead battery £150.00 ish for a replacement inc fitting.Ouch
I looked online and got the biggest and most powerful battery that would fit in my car a Varta F18 ist huge and has a 5 year warranty For £78.50 @ batterymega store.Ok i had to wait 1 day for delivery and fit myself but £70.00 cheaper.
One tip for disabled drivers using your own car ,Is Some parts suppliers have a V.A.T Exemption Form for batteries.
So said battery only cost £65.42.

Actually, this is good. With joint cover, you can get £58 cashback with Quidco.
I was thinking about GEM or RAC, and looking at this I'll probably go RAC.
I only looked at prices a few days ago, the RAC was £165 then!
