For the second season running, Stoke City are offering free away transport for fans, starting from the first game of the season. First away match of the season at Hull costs just £16 for an adult ticket, including transport.

Won't benefit me directly but have some heat. More clubs should take a leaf out of Stoke's book.

Does the coach driver play any music besides Tom Jones though?

SuperEd

If only more clubs had this for their fans. Heat added

that's so good, wish more clubs would do this

loads of hot stuff from me, here's wishing the club a great forthcoming season.

clubs like man utd should be ashamed, raking in 750m from sponsors and not a sausage for the people that pay the players wages...absolutely disgusting.

First match of season is Villa at home no?

Heat

goaarn the Potters!

Not a fan but this is brilliant. Had no idea they did this. Wish them a top 10 spot for this as well!

Massive Face Palm for Keito Star
The OP stated that the first game of the season was v Hull away when it's actually Aston Villa at home, he (matt wood) was just pointing it out.

yes it is , and your point is ?????

Not really kWh. Op clearly states away to hull. This is their first away game of the season... Don't know how nobody would be able to grasp it tbh but hey ho no harm done

Face palms for me, you and everyone here.

End of the day its a brilliant thing, wish my team would offer the same for away supporters

Big clubs don't need this. We'll fill our allocation wherever we go this season anyway #SAFC

Hats of to Mr Coates. Goooarn Stoke!

Super Stoke

Top gesture! Feel the burn!

enjoy your relegation scrap again this year.

Great gesture by the club.

Players on millions a year, transfers costing tens of millions and this costing a few tens of thousands a season - probably a few days wages to some of the top players even at Stoke.

But only Stoke has done it so well done to them.

Is this for Stoke UK or Stoke Portugal?

This is great for Stoke fans,I support AFC Bournemouth and take my son to a lot of away games and with travel and match tickets together costs us between £80 and £100 per game.
Most of our games are Midlands or up North so very expensive.
Really applaud Stoke for doing this, heat added......

Cracking deal once again. Goooarn Stoke!

matthewbarfootJul, does your 7 include the driver?

we'll see

Fantastic deal, although English football still has a lot further to go before it represents giving true value to fans.

On a side note, Stoke City will always hold a place in my heart, I was born there after all. However I moved to the North East aged just 3 years old and although I'll try my best to remember Stoke as fondly as I can, County Durham will always remain in my heart as my home.

Love oatcakes, best thing to come out of stoke.

They're the loudest football fans in the league.

Red hot deal thanks OP!

We were the loudest football fans in the league...... Before the Johnny come latelys arrived.

Still a top deal......Cheers Sir Peter

Good deal Stoke

well done to stoke. other clubs need to give back something to the fans.

I'd imagine the £750m goes some way towards paying their wages.

Superb gesture, well done Stoke. Should be mandatory for all teams with the amount of money sloshing around. So what you sell out your allocation SAFC? you wouldn't turn down free away trips. As long as it's allocated on a loyalty factor. Heat from Salford.

So proud of my club for doing this again this year! A locally-owned club giving something back to the fans for their support. For the relative pittance it costs the clubs to lay on these coaches I'm really surprised no other teams have done this!

Not a fan of Stoke or the way they play...but this is a class act of a move and should be applauded. Well done the Stoke Directors for making this happen once again

I take it you didn't see us play last year? (http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/9246062/mark-hughes-has-succeeded-in-changing-the-style-of-play-at-stoke-city-and-it-is-getting-results)

Yes, we still get the reputation that Pulis left, hoofing it forward to the lone tall striker with a solid defence but things have changed now (for the better). Although interestingly enough the style that Pulis has now brought to Crystal Palace was much celebrated last season whilst it was vilified at Stoke...southern bias?

A great gesture from the club! Well done to the Potters

The Begovic freak/wonder goal obviously went against this "anti-hoof" style though!

Well done Stoke....wish my club (Notts County could do the same)...heat added

Great deal. The amount of money football clubs make, more should be doing deals like this.

Worst fans in the league.
