Great thanks.

Hold on a minute! I work for a living so don't need handouts.

I do end up paying for them though. :x

I dont have a baby, but any responsible parent makes sure they have finances on their side before bringing a new life into this world anyway.

I'll be buying my own thankyou as I too, work.

Sure its a good find for plenty of people out there though.

MANY people have been responsible, had the finances then circumstances beyond their control have resulted in them ending up a lone parent or on benefits. GOD people like you make me SICK. Get a heart AND a brain, ffs.

Anybody mind if I just sit and watch this one? Don't fancy getting involded.

Coward - :whistling:

wow i guess i asked 2 be a single parent then did i when my b/f died in a car accident i guess u few who seem 2 class single unemployed parents know what youre on about and every body is below you is it?I DONT THINK SO!!!

I used to be one of those nieve people who think i work for all them scroungers to sit on there bums! and that they get enough benefits and handouts i work bla bla bla b*llsh*t ......
Then i became a single mum an its bloody hard.... and beneifits dont go anywhere!!!
Great thanks.

Imagine you waking up being single with kids to look after and having to go on benifits even if it was for a6 months! you'd feel different!!

lol:thumbsup:

That's the problem with the society we live in today I'm afraid due to there being so many people 'playing the state' everyone starts to get tarred with the same brush..... but like I've always said... you should only be able to get something out of the state if you have paid something in .... if you go to my previous posts I actually have a younger (half) sister who only worked 6 months of her life she is now 39 with 3 kids all whilst on the social ... now that definitely shouldn't be allowed .... but for the genuine people out there (men & women) this site is a handy thing to know about

u know in a way its quite funny the 1s whinging about people lookin for handouts when they are obv lookin for freebies them selves else why they lookin in here

^ LOL. Good point !

I totally agree, people should think before judging others, its not always the case that people chose to have children without the finances to look after them. My partner has just left me after 5 years, we have an 18 month old daughter, and now I am a single parent and benefits are just not enough to pay the mortgage, bills and living expenses even though I have cut down on everything I can think of.
Please think before labeling everyone as the same !!!!!

Noboby knows what is round the next corner & how life can suddenly change so you shouldn't automatically jump to conclusions and stereotype ALL single parents as scroungers!!!! Life can be tough I know lots of single mums many work & hold down jobs others are benefits BUT they are ALL decent people.

Both me and my partner worked for the same company, suddenly we were told not to come to work, the company had collapsed without warning owing us both a months wages and had to go onto benefits and it really isnt easy at all to go from having a good job to nothing! the government worked out that me and my partner could live off £54 between us!

For all the people that are saying being on benefits its a life riley you really need to try living off £54 a week! it doesnt cover the essentials let alone any kind of luxury. You should also try opening your eyes and realising it could happen to you at anytime. Dont get me wrong the people that are on benefits and abuse them wind me the hell up too but thats not for us to argue about, thats for the government to better the system!

For every single parent who has a legitimate break up there must be 20 single parents who have children for extra wonga.

very good like that i think this deal is hot as u need as much help as pos with kid as it not easy trying to keep up with all all there everday need even when you do work as lot of familys are still on low income when working as pay is not very good anny more & everthink is allways costing more and more ever year

voted hot - it doesnt really matter what peoples circumstances are its the children who need the stuff and if a parent on low income need something for a child then this is there chance to get help, and a big thumbs up to a parent who takes the chance to get what they can for there child because it shows that this is there main priority ( caring for there child ) there are plenty of parents who are selfish and dont care what a childs needs are as long as they have what they want. ANY help available to low income familys is a hot 1 and people shouldnt judge or comment because 1 day u might just find your world goes t*ts up and you are in this kind of situation yourself and will be looking for help, and can you really say you wont want any help, like hell will you!!

how come you only get £54 a week between you? im on JSA cos i got made redundant and im on £60.50 a week - i live alone. i think its about £100 for couples isnt it?

luckily im not a single parent.... but ive been working for the last 20 years and never had to claim benefits before. i hate it, its degrading going to "sign on" and its hard paying a mortgage and the bills. im struggling to find a job, there seems less to apply for all the time, not sure if it is the credit crunch (as they call it)?

also my mum and dad split up when i was 4. with 4 children and a disability, my mum had no choice to take handouts, she was far too ill to work

this deal may be helpful for some people, i think some of the comments (not yours princess) have been uncalled for.

i have been on both sides of the fence i started off on benefits because my b/f left me i started a accounting course and now fully qualified i still get things given to me and go on auction sites babies r expensive an grow very fast so all the people that say i wouldn't take hand outs have a baby then tell us how much of the stuff never or hardly gets used :x:!::!:

you just never know when your circumstances may change. it can happen. great find
