Have you ever wanted to be in the audience of your favourite TV shows, or actually appear on the show itself? Well, now you can. At the BBC’s “Shows and Tours” pages, you are able to apply for dozens of free of charge shows (both for TV and radio).

The site lets you search by location, date or venue. Programmes are organised into categories, so you can view a list of all shows, or search by Entertainment shows, Collectables, Property & DIY, or Lifestyle. Each broadcast has a deadline so if you miss out, you should be able to apply again next time. Keep an eye on the Latest Shows news feed for further details.

Just some of the popular shows you can apply to appear on include: Pointless, Flog It!, The Gift, Eat Well For Less, The National Lottery In it To Win It, Home Away From Home, Wanted In Paradise, and lots more besides. You can even book a tour of BBC buildings, such as Broadcasting House in London. And it’s all free! Please note: numbers for certain shows are limited and it is recommended you book early to avoid disappointment.

Aside from shows, the BBC Audience pages also let you participate in events, such as the Antiques Roadshow and the BBC Philharmonic productions.

It`s a plot to get you there. They`ll chop you up and feed you to the liberals.

Applicants must be militant lefties(small print )

Just a heads up the tickets are usually overissued, which means that many arriving don't get to get in. Rather disappointing after paying to park or public transport and queuing outside in the cold for around an hour.

Typically ignorant drivel served based on prejudice. My sister works for the BBC, but no longer tells people that as every fool has some counterfactual opinion based on nothing but tabloid bile. She is largely apolitical but voted for the local Tory MP at the last election whom she met once; while her husband on the other hand is a right-wing libertarian. Actually, there are many Corbynistas who think there is a conspiracy within the BBC to destroy the Labour leadership.
