FREE Bee-Friendly, Wildflowers Seeds Pack @ 38 Degrees [Save the Bees]

Britain’s bees need our help. The wild meadows and flowers bees feed on are disappearing fast, and that means our buzzy friends could be in for a very tough spring. Over the last few decades the UK has lost 97% of its wildflower meadows, making food scarce for our bees.

That’s where we come in. If thousands of us come together in the next three weeks to plant bee-friendly flower seeds, we can make sure there’s enough food for bees to survive and thrive this summer. Whether it’s a plant pot on a windowsill or a garden in the countryside, we can all sow seeds to give our bees a helping hand.

Click here to order a packet of bee-friendly seeds – and chip in to pay for others to get a packet too, if you can.

Bees pollinate three-quarters of the world’s crops – apples, strawberries, onions, carrots, and many, many more. We wouldn’t last long without them. But if we want them to keep growing food for us, we need to do our part to grow food for them.

This isn’t the first time 38 Degrees members have come together to plant flowers for bees – last spring, more than 50,000 of us took part. [4] This year we want to do even better, and make sure more of us than ever are planting seeds to help out the bees.

Bees contribute around £400 million to the UK economy per year, with pollinating insects contributing £630m+ per year.
Heat.

I found that they go mad for Sunflowers, Marigolds and Nasturtiums in my garden.

Cold.
Odd that you have to call them rather than apply online. Not a good use of someones time at their end unless they are going to try and get donations out of you when you call.
This needs to be amended - rang the number to be told Friends of the Earth aren't doing it this year but 38 degrees are:

Bonus, I haven't received any correspondence whatsoever. I'll be buying seeds instead of waiting for x amount of time.

Happy to help the bees, but what if they created hive on my house, and sometimes even bees enter the house? Any way to prevent that?
They don't cause any harm, just leave them bee.
If you reach out to your local beekeepers association, they may have some one looking for bees, they will come and take them away.

Set up a honey trap

Or just live with the bees in harmony

call a beekeeper and they will gladly get the hive out for you...and about the second point ....I don't see what's the big deal about a single bee getting into your house every now and then
Thankyou
Just ordered and donated. Nice find
Ordered and donated too thanks
I'm looking for helping bees since they help us a lot more. Sunflower masses are quite cheap and the birds love them too. Buddleia are fab for bees too. Hell, just about any flowers. So get out, and the Floral Dance!
