Without wanting to be "that guy", this is a different kind of beer. Craft beer is generally produced in smaller batches, by smaller breweries - the big guys claim to have some craft offerings, but they're not in the same league. Little guys have bigger overheads, hence the slightly higher price (I know people who have paid up to £15 for a 330ml bottle), but in return you get a beer which has deeper and stronger flavours, they've really taken their time perfecting the recipe. But then on the other hand, some craft beer is a load of crap worthy of nothing more than pouring down the sink.

This isn't your run of the mill German lager.

Doh... I just became that guy, didn't I?

Not funny.
Some people really do have alcohol problems.
Just be aware that when you cancel they give it a really hard sell. I had to tell them I'd quit drinking as I was ill in the end, and they still keep texting me now with offers - not overly responsible or compassionate...!

They only allow 1 promotion per account. I set up a new account to get this deal. I didn't find it difficult to cancel last time.

300/330ml bottles /cans as I recall. Still ok for the money. 5.25% TCB available on Beer52 - whether it will pay out with this deal I don't know but I've given it a try

I did this through a perkbox deal. Beer was generally nice, you get a magazine and some nuts. Wouldn't pay £25 though.

For those like me who don't like talking to other human beings on the phone, you can email your cancellation through. They'll reply offering a £10 discount, just reply no thank you, just cancel please and it's done.

Just to make people aware, you can only cancel via phone. Took me 10-15 minutes of my time to do so, holding for a while and then having to make excuses as to why when I eventually got through.

So you can't make jokes on serious subjects?

You can but I'm not sure the initial "joke" can actually be classed as such...more like a poor taste attempt at humour that fell rather flat.

Almost as though different people have different tastes in what they find funny.

Yeah well i'd agree with that....it wasn't particularly funny...at all, but still, people should be able to joke about any subject
£5 cashback tracked through Quidco
not it sure if it will get declined once I cancel
It's trying to charge me £24 today... hmm

Still working fine here. Are you going directly from the get deal link here or via Quidco/TCB? I found if you go via the cashback sites it will not automatically apply the discount BUT you can apply it manually in order to get cashback, you just have to manually input the code: NYFB on the first page.

Not sure if the cashback will actually work as neither TCB or Quidco mention the code but nothing to lose, worth a try.

Heated great deal...
Any other time of the year I'd be all over this but Jan is detox for me, otherwise I'll end up a right chunk.

Craft beer is just a hipster name adopted by quite a few breweries and used in a way to sell their beer in smaller cans or bottles and at a higher price. You blame that on bigger overheads. If it were true, then why are there so many small breweries who market their product as real ale and charge a much fairer price?

To people, especially younger people now who are just getting into beers, the name craft beer is more fashionable and trendy as they would associate real ale with an old mans drink.

'Jaipur' by Thornbridge is an example of this. They used to market it as a real ale, it was sold in 500ml bottles and sometimes in draught. Then, no doubt in order to maximise profits it started being marketed as 'craft beer' and only sold in 330ml bottles with the same, if not higher price tag.

So all in all, anything marketed as craft beer is nothing more than a 'good' real ale with a much higher price tag
Received mine this morning, delivered in less than 24 hours from ordering! Very impressive. Looks very decent selection as well, good mix of cans and bottles and seems a good variety of types (no beer expert but I like flavourly and this seems pretty similar stuff).

Bargain at this price for sure, but in no way worth the normal £24 IMHO....
Got mine this morning agree not worth full price but for 5.95 ( if Quidco pays out .95 p) can’t complain

had as this one below at Xmas great Japanese craftbeer

I ordered mine on Friday & the box arrived Saturday. Don't know if it made any difference but I selected pale ales as my preference on sign-up & received 7 pale & 1 fruit beer, mostly Sierra Nevada & Firestone Walker. Most if not all were 355ml (US 12 fluid ounces). Had friends over for the weekend so they've all gone except the fruit beer. 6 great beers & a foul bitter-sweet grapefruit IPA. All in all a great deal for £5.95. TCB hasn't tracked, but I didn't expect it to. Great post newbie
