FREE Big Library Crime Book Giveaway (4,000) on Saturday 5th May (Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, South Tyneside) @CrimeFest & CWA

Found 3rd May
CrimeFest is teaming up with the CWA, publishers and libraries to give away up to 4,000 books across the country on Saturday 5 May.

To celebrate their 10th anniversary and help launch the CWA’s National Crime Reading Month in May, CrimeFest are expanding their annual crime fiction giveaway to libraries across the country. The UK’s biggest crime fiction convention has teamed up with the Crime Writers’ Association, publishers, Goldsboro Books and libraries in Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow and South Tyneside to give away up to 4,000 crime novels for free on Saturday 5 May, two weeks ahead of the crime fiction festival.

The initiative started in Bristol as a thank you to the city that has hosted the convention since 2008, and now, in National Crime Reading Month, CrimeFest want to extend that to crime fiction fans throughout the country.

Eleven publishers and Goldsboro Books have generously donated books by thirty-five authors to this crime fiction giveaway being hosted at twenty libraries from across the UK.

Crime fiction lovers from Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow and South Tyneside will be treated to books by bestselling authors Ragnar Jonasson, Leigh Russell and Guy Fraser-Sampson, as well as titles from Corrie Jackson, Claire McGowan, Joy Fielding and Amanda Jennings and many more.
