how long have you been on hukd as this is the norm, ppl vote cold on freebies if they don't like it even though it's free

it's a shame, some ppl are so narrow minded as this can affect others voting

personally if I don't like and don't care about a deal I don't vote, however if I think it's a good deal and not of interest to me, I vote it hot

I already use this site and there is a great choice of free books. My kindle is rammed!!!!! Voted hot!!!

Even though there are none of the authors/books that I would read I am still voting this as hot,Just because there are none of the authors/books that I would read this will be good for some people and after all, all free things are good to get.

It's not a great website for searching as don't seem to keep it updated, as as others. said a lot of the books are then linking through to rest of paid series which also isn't helpful
Could be better implemented

The website address is freebooksy.com but the op has linked the "deal" to the fantasy genre hence why they are only showing up

Already subscribed to the general email lists and would recommend for the occasional great find.

That really is a thoughtless, if not ignorant, point of view. What you are in effect saying is that you think we all should be deciding whether to vote hot or cold on the bases of cost alone. You are overlooking the varied reasons why people vote here -- even on 'free' items. You may disapprove of what is being offered; think the item is inferior to a similar free item; know that the item is potentially dangerous; know that by asking for the free item you have to agree to receive spam; don't want to support a supplier whose products you think are unethical; the op has given the wrong information or link, etc. We make up our own minds about how we vote, you make up yours. And none of are obliged to say why we vote as we do -- that is also up to us, individually.

Searched for well known authors - no results. Searched for electronics - got birth control. searched for programming - got a few beginners guides. Think I will stick to reading normal books. COLD from me

Thank you op!
