Absolute madness this has been voted cold. You are actually getting paid fo ordering a free box of chocolates because people don't want to log back in which takes 5 seconds and simply cancel the subscription once you receive the chocolates lol I give up.

It's HotUKDeals. The users ain't very smart

Even if Quidco doesn't pay it's still free chocolates

It seems people are dumb and either think it's not a glitch or they are going to go into debt

They think they'll be charged, basically they don't know anything about laws

Imagine if they could actually charge you when you didn't agree. Then companies will always be having stuff for free then they will say "oops the real price is £4000, we are going to charge your card"
Make sure you use a fake phone number as they are very persistent with phone calls after you cancel. In the end I used to say I have diabetes and hung up they stopped calling after a few months

There's no buy now button
You have subscribed to a box which is why it appears free. You will be charged monthly.
Isn't it a subscription?
No option to add to basket.
And how do you order it?
How do i find the chocs on their site?
This is a subscription box
It's a subscription. Remember to cancel
Quidco says cashback is for subscription
And a further box of chocolates sent every month unless you cancel, by the looks of it. Reminds me of when I belonged to Britannia Music Club. Forgot to cancel overpriced CD's and ended up keeping them.

Yes but you can cancel online. It’s usually around £7 for a bigger box delivered free. Dates are very close to best before.
"Your first Tasting Club box will be delivered by your local postie straight through your letterbox. You'll then be able to change how often your chocolates are delivered, which address they go to, and your ongoing payment method all from your account area."

Is it a subscription? Because it might be that the tasting box is free and you get charged with subsequent deliveries.

OP made the mistake of initially omitting that this is a subscription service and combined this with the magical G word.
It's weekend so more glitchy deals

Added in text.
Now pay zero but I think you have to pay once it is despatched.
It forces you to subscribe - easily fixed by selecting 'My Account' 'Order History' 'My Subscriptions' 'Snooze' then bottom half of page 'cancel subscription'
Thanks OP, ordered. Will cancel when received

I haven't voted but I never go for this type of thing where you have to cancel subscriptions I can't be bothered in case there's any problems or I forget etc.
Ordered - on a card linked to an empty bank account. Don't fancy getting hooked into a subscription, and will be cancelling regardless.
Thanks op just ordered. Balance to pay = zero

It's the subscription box and the free gift I think. The free gift is the item in the picture which isn't in the box, the little bags to the right:

Aren't you likely to be charged by the bank for trying to pay something without having funds or does that not happen these days?

I've signed up and will cancel as soon as I have a dispatch of the freebie. Can't see why that wouldn't be perfectly fine.

I think its gone cold because you said it was a glitch in the title and it clearly isn't. It is a good deal and think people should give you a break.

Nope. No overdraft on this account, so the card will simply decline and then Hotel Chocolat will email me to advise... in theory
