This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I was still in contract and went through this link and it renewed my broadband contract at the current price and gave free bt sport

Says 18 months when going through page, but just received confirmation and overall broadband contract was 12 months

Also chance for 4 months free HD sport

EDIT : my selection was BT sport on sky tv - guess it depends on existing package

EDIT : as per comments this only seems to work for existing bt sport customers

Is this for bt tv or bt app and online?
Mark_Dyke16/07/2019 19:52

Mine was BT sport on sky

I have only bt brodband, any chance they will give me bt sport app and online for free? Thanks.
Depends on what the renewal price is? On 2 occasions ive switched to another provider because they were going to nearly double the price i was paying. You say at the price you were paying, but what price is that?

Can’t see anything about 4 months free HD?
I've tried it and because I don't have bt sport already it doesn't work, which is fair enough but this is misleading, think you should mention you need to have it already as I assume is the case.

Same here, only works if you already have bt sport. Gutted 😰
I have edited post to show that only for existing bt sport customers - my apologies
All I get from bt is constant emails asking me to upgrade to fibre plus for an extra £12 but hurry this offer ends soon. Every few weeks and all I can see is different is if my broadband breaks they send me a mifi dongle

Must think I am an idiot. Not paying extra for that. If my broadband goes down I would be claiming back money off my bill ffs

Checked my offers, I can have what I have now for an extra £5 a month. Cheers for that.
Sorry...Good news – you have a version of BT Sport that will continue to be discounted for Season 3 so you don't need to take action.

The above is what I get when I click on the link.

If I log in to my account and click on upgrade my broadband I get this...

Hi BarGin. Sorry, but at the moment we can only show personalised deals for customers who already have broadband with us.

Left hand, meet right hand!

Same
BT sport is an absolute con.

Sky are doing sky sports for new customers for £23 with HD for 18 months. Get sports from an engineer visit and it's £15 a month.

Hi. Could you please explain what you mean by getting from an engineer visit?
Thanks op, it looks like I have renewed my bt sport at the same price I was paying (£7/month). I received a letter two weeks ago saying it was going up by £4/month and I hadn’t got round to ringing them up to haggle them back down so this saves me a job!

It also appears that my broadband price has been frozen but I’m sure that they had committed to not increasing it for the next year anyway? It is however worth pointing out that a term they have included is that they now will increase the prices annually in line with the rate of inflation if you sign this new contract.
So looking into this, this deal is actually just to renew your BT sport at the current price, i.e. keep your current discount.
I pay £21 for fiber, the sports app was free, but is now £1 month.
it gives me this message

That’s a great price. We pay £29 for fibre to the home (50meg download speed) which I thought was reasonably good. Obviously I’m not as good a negotiator as you are.

What’s the process for getting BT sport?

No way is that fttp. 50mbps is way to slow.

If you have a visit by engineer they do sales so they get some good deals that they can sell and make commission on. Unfortunately sky now make their engineers to earn a decent living. If not they get dragged in for disciplinary meetings too
What offers do they do for people who would rather stick pins in their eyes than watch sport?
Just had nightmare with this, clicked link, renewal done, showed bt sports for 12 quid.... Not free. Called them and they knew nothing of a free offer.
Based on earlier comments and my own experience, the offer appears to let you avoid the recent increase announced and keep the BT Sport price you currently pay, whether that is free, £7, £10, £12 etc.
"extend your BT Sport discount by recontracting your existing broadband package."

It was the last price hike, the sports app was free ( now £1 a month ) easy to cast on to tv, in fact better picture than when I had BT sport. Think its now free for 3 months, then pay.

If you have an install or service call from a Sky engineer AND you don't have Sky Sports at that time, you can add Sky Sports for £15 a month, 18 month contract.

Or if you know a Sky engineer, ask them to add it for you.

The targets aren't hard to meet if you want to sell stuff tbf.

Haha that’s the point most people didn’t want too but their pay is affected. So what is ur point?
Unless you keep your price where it's like £30pcm for 50mbps (or whatever that band is) and line rental, it'd be cheaper to leave them and resign up. Need to always give them a call to negotiate it.

We had a fibre line fed into our home by an Openreach engineer so yes it’s fibre to the home. Base package is 50meg which is all we need.

No it's not, the title is still wrong, this deal is basically renewing your current deal at the same price you already pay for BT sport.

So the only people to get it free are the people who currently have it free and renew their broadband for an extra 12 or 18 months, I forget which length.

My point is that if you don't want to help the employer strengthen its business, go elsewhere. Too many sky engineers are lazy asses, gravy train is over thankfully.

Don't understand how some engineers seem to think that they shouldn't be told to help the business. Same complaints when NPS started. Lazy, arrogant, want to be finished by 3 every day. Job has changed, if you don't like it, do one

Clearly a brown noser at sky then. Dreadful company to work for and I did leave and all the better for it. If you think they’re a good company you clearly have no idea. Poor pay for a stressful job.

Oh contraire, I'm just not afraid of hard work or new things. It's given me some new skills and made the job more interesting. Sky obviously isn't for you any more so it's good for us that you left

100% brown noser. You’re a engineer (apparently) and you’re happy that sky gave you a new skill of being able to sell or lose your job. I’m now earning 50% more then sky ever paid me so actually pretty sure I don’t care if sky see it as their lose. But I know of Atleast 15-20 engineers that would leave if given a opportunity somewhere else. So to be honest try defend them as much as you want they’re a crap company to work for
Yeah ok, imagine being an adult and using the phrase 'brown noser'
