Even though it's alcohol free would you still get funny looks cracking one open in the office, or on the way to work?

Also bud is rank.

But I've got a feeling you have to be drunk to be able to drink it. I'll report back at lunchtime for a quick review

I'd buy it just for that gag, but I'm not a fan of drinking urine

Nice on the commute
It's because "dry January" is more and more popular, but also millennials drink less than previous generations.
I stopped drinking alcohol 1yr and a half ago after trying a "dry month".

the homeless will be queuing up for miles
Why would u drink bud it is tasteless .
spotted at King's Cross and Holborn Stations too!
I spotted them at Warren Street as well as Goodge Street station - assume they are doing it at most Zone 1 stations.

OP, you might want to change the description to say so - as its not just Oxford Circus.

I bet NO ONE will want more than one if any of these today. Unlike yesterday’s umbrella.

Alcohol free beer. What's the point?

A lot actually. A few points I've learnt here and with a friend. Women who are pregnant, people who want to minimize alcohol consumption, people who just don't want to get drunk (some I've heard actually like the taste), also today I was told to bring alcohol free beer to my friend in hospital. He's been wanting a drink ever since he was taken to hospital over a month ago. Understandably nurses would not give him a can of beer. I'm sure there are other reason to drink a non-alcoholic beer.

Poison?
The American Bud - I wouldn't drink this foul tasting stuff even with alcohol in it. Why would I drink it without alcohol. It surely will taste even worse than the waste water from a bath.

Not all septic beers are bad though, Goose Island brew up some nice stuff to be fair.
I'm currently doing Dry January and missed the taste of beer. I settled for this as the rice makes it sweet. I drank a can on the drive home, thought it was horrible. A few days later after it was in the fridge and with a roast dinner I actually quite liked it. Haters gonna hate

For people that don't drink alcohol but like the taste of beer ? It not hard to work out is it ?
I understand that they were also giving these out at Liverpool Street Station today

Agree, some people think the world revolves around them. Their taste, views and interest should be law and rule. Everyone is wrong. The fact these companies are making such drinks, means there's a market out there for it. Secondly, with the NHS stretched, people drinking less alcohol will help, especially during the festive periods.

A friend explained it to me in a way that seriously put me right of cunnilingus for a while, but i'll spare you the details
I have taken the opportunity to pick up drink and food samples being given away free in the street. However I do wonder if some unscrupulous person could tamper with the food and drink thus making the people who consume it ill or worse. Perhaps I am being a bit paranoid but when someone is giving out free food or drink your first thought is 'I must get some of that' and not 'I wonder if there is anything wrong with it'

Don't think you read her comment, @Norseg wrote

"Incoming Alcoholics crying that it's a cold deal because it doesn't contain Poison."

Which to me suggests she considers alcohol to be 'poison' whilst you claim that non alcoholic equates to 'poison'

I, like you clearly are, am a proud alcoholic so have a fight with her about it rather than digging me out thank you.

Limitless Badger beer and Edinburgh gin for all, fxxx the lycra clad gym membership holding nanny state warriors I say!
