Well worth it. Martin Lewis last week recommended this on his CH5 show "It pays to watch". He said worth getting a Capital One card (no need to use it) just for this free service.

Cant really complain!

Just had an email from Equifax saying:

Capital One have reluctantly come to the decision that they will no … Capital One have reluctantly come to the decision that they will no longer provide the Identity Alert service with your Capital One card.Your access will end on 29 February 2016. After this date you will no longer receive alerts from Equifax notifying you of changes to your credit file and you will not be able to access or retrieve historic credit reports.

I've just had the same, although I stopped using the Cap One card when they cut the cashback, do you still use yours, is this something they are cutting across the board or just for cards that aren't being regularly used?
