So would you also vote cold if you got a years supply of chocolate for free? Or or a years supply of Avocado (also unhealthy due to fat content). You can always give it to friends and family...
There’s no pleasing some...

I actually agree with you but theres a way to get information across, this is not different to the beaks and intestines in chicken nuggets posts. Or alien chickens in the KFC threads, it will fall on deaf ears its just sticking your nose in the air.

IN any case there is truth in what you say however slowly we are going towards a better diet (I think) it will take some time before dairy lowers in popularity the industry targets children that they need dairy to grow so parents give it to them straight away and we are hooked for life! The fact that supermarkets have shelves of non dairy milk alternatives is promising.

A lot of my mild health issues, skin and digestive problems went away when I stopped taking dairy. I clearly have a lactose intolerance, I do still like chocolate and ice cream here and there mind

Ben Gunn & Roland Rat swoon at this most generous offer.

I have anti-bodies to dairy and egg; I also have an auto-immune condition. If I give up dairy and egg, my blood platelet counts drop to 2% of normal; cheese is manna from heaven as far as I am concerned!!

However, I wont be using the offer, aunty Deb gets me my rations; she lives IN the gorge.

BTW, if you do some research, you will find that too much water is bad for you as well; it can make your cells explode!!

I did some research, I have biological sciences degree AND a medical degree and a load of experience as a doctor... you are talking utter rubbish. I suggest you present peer reviewed quality scientific evidence (not some bull website) or sod off with your lies.

Link disproven in recent medical evidence. Fats and saturated fats particularly nowhere near as bad for you as once suspected.

You mean you have successfully researched, not tried to do some research

thx op

What is the weight of the free sample?

It's funny how everybody is getting so defensive because I said dairy is bad for you. I wonder why that is? Could it be because the milk marketing board has been brainwashing the masses for generations?

We stop drinking our mothers milk at quite a young age, why on earth would anybody think that continuing to drink the milk of another species with completely different requirements to our own is a good idea?

The dairy industry would have you believe that you need to drink milk to have strong bones and teeth but this is utter rubbish. The majority of humans cannot even properly digest milk as they lack the enzymes necessary. This causes issues ranging from excess gas to extreme pain and bloating. Logic would then suggest that because these people don't drink milk, they must have weak bones and teeth. They don't.

Most of the dietary advice you will see parroted is based on biased research funded by organisations in the food industry with vested interests. It's up to you whether you live in ignorance.

I am yet to meet a doctor with anything more than a very basic understanding of nutrition. I hit a complete dead-end within the NHS trying to get to the bottom of my own health issues. I instead went to a nutritionist (Yeah I know, little to no medical training!) and my health has changed drastically for the better since.

I'm not saying all doctors are bad, I just think that health care is too focused on pills and if your symptoms don't fit within textbook definitions, they just shrug and turn you away.

“Nutritionist” is not a protected title. I can call myself a “consultant expert nutritionist” it’s meaningless. In fact my dog is a nutritionist... because I said so.
The actual medical professional who understands nutrition is called a dietitian.
My medical degree and 14 consecutive years of university & post graduate education trumps your google search.

Protected title or not, the nutritionist got to the bottom of my problems. The NHS told me there was nothing they could do. This is not the first time I've been let down my doctors either.

So explain to me why professionals with a medical degree and years of training and practice couldn't help me but a nutritionist could?

Each to their own, everything in moderation etc! I happen to love the taste of a ‘good’ cheese, using my own taste as the criteria for ‘good’ but don’t eat too much of it. I believe that as long as we eat a balanced diet we should be OK, at least until Trump or Kim set off the Big Bomb!

Just had a peek at their website, seems to be a small business

love cheese and milk pork scratchings crispy fat on lamb chops, gravy lagoon on my plate, fry ups with fried bread obviously in bacon fat, big juicy beef burgers again with cheese and bacon on it, and no high blood pressure nor obese
i also smoke and drink, with a chicken curry for afters...num num num, who wants to live forever anyway, eating tofu beans and pulses..farting your way to an extended life, obviously not all the time, but rather a regular home cooked fresh meat and veg diet.

None of those are primary sources. They are web pages regurgitating old evidence. As I said recently disproven. Good quality large meta-analysis showed no link between dietary sat fat and cardiovascular disease. IE the data all the stuff you just posted was based on is probably wrong.

Thanks

Eat what you want and let others get on with it. I love cheese but my Lactose Intolerance wont let me eat Dairy. i'm still giving this heat cos it's free god damn cheese!

Due to the yeast that grows wild on wheat and other cereals, I dont eat a lot of them; my main meal of the day is more than a bit caveman, 2x good quality burgers made with rice and potato flour, and 2x good quality sausages with a couple of eggs.

My doctor was horrified, and sent me off for cholesterol tests.

5.1

She then tried to claim that most of that was "bad" cholesterol, so off for more tests .... nope, I am fine.

As for doctors, they not only dont know everything, but have a culture of ridiculing anyone without a medical degree for pointing out the obvious.

I was complaining of chronic fatigue for years, only to get fobbed off; finally someone in the USA did a poll, of ITP sufferers respondents (my 1st chronic illness), 99.5% put down chronic fatigue as the worse symptom.

After that is was all "Of course, we have known that for years", from the same twats who had been it denying year after year - up until the month before.

I could fill a few pages with the number of times I have come up with an idea - had it rubbished by the medics, and then had it proven a few years later (yeast for example).
