Kids see enough of CV my son is terrified

That’s why they make books like this, to ease their minds and explain things in a way that can help their moods and attitudes surrounding subjects

Good idea. It’s hard for kids to understand why they suddenly can’t go out and play or see grandparents.

My daughter- 8 year old , had a bad belly a few days ago . She was crying , she was scared that she got coronavirus . I totally understand your point of view.

Fab Thank you for sharing
Hmm. I applaud the aim of explaining the virus to kids in a non-scary way, but this book is still pushing the line that the virus is only dangerous to the elderly and those in poor health, which we now know to be completely false. I also note that the epidemiologist who wrote it has expressed the opinion that the impact of the lockdown might outweigh the lives that would be lost (not in this book), which seems a little callous, and makes me wonder if that's why he's not been honest about the risk to younger people. In general terms though, it looks useful, particularly for younger children.
