Free chipboard at Ikea Leeds - help yourself!

Found 2nd Mar 2015
Just popped into Ikea at Leeds and they have two large trolleys of 'free handyman wood' outside in the collections car park - lots of large sheets of chipboard. Not likely to last long, but really handy for anyone boarding a loft it doing a bit of DIY!

Free from IKEA ? We get free coffee & still wonder at it . Last we heard they were down to their last 1000 billion Krona !

I can't wrong IKEA, they are a good company in my book

Where was the spoiler alert? I have not finished reading that yet ;-)

shame too far I need some.

you planks!

B&Q used to give off-cuts free as well if anyone is interested.

Think all Ikea stores do this...........I have seen cabinet doors, chipboard and shelving. Last time I was at Edinburgh one I picked up 6 sturdy shelves for my utility room. Already had the metal uprights so well pleased.

I've seen prices on offcuts before when I was in there.

Wouldn't trust thin chipboard in a loft

Bristol ikea do this too
