do you have to send flowers or a plant for those 'key dates' that you enter?

A word of caution on their delivery dates.

I ordered flowers for my mums birthday and got the dispatch note telling me flowers would be delivered on her birthday between 8am and 6pm. They arrived ONE DAY later!! When I queried this with Tesco they said that their terms and conditions state that "remote locations" (Northern Ireland and others) take up to 48 hours for delivery. I asked why they told me a courier would arrive on a certain day between 8 and 6 when that was not the case but haven't received a reply yet

I have used them a couple of times and never had a problem, they are always delivered on time, look great, and are not too expensive. They also last about 2 weeks

This is a deal I have done and think is good - even if you are not sure that you will send flowers, it makes sense to do this just incase you do

I too have had problems with their delivery dates. They didn't deliver on the specified day then tried to deliver on a day when no-one was in so now I have no flowers and no refund.

Yes. Tesco said they were delivered on the day when no-one was in. I asked for proof so they changed their mind and said the flowers weren't actually delivered. They say it's my problem for not being at home to collect them on a day when they weren't meant to be delivered. They says they tried twice but they didn't.

Thats really bad customer service!

I havent had a problem with Tesco, and know other people who have used them without a problem - so would use them again.

Persistence with chasing Tescos finally paid off - got the following reply from them:

"Please accept my apologies for the problems you have had with this order.
This is not our normal standard of service, and a gesture of our goodwill I am happy to offer you either a full refund or a replacement."

They have redeemed themselves somewhat in my opinion, just a shame it took so much effort for them to do what they should have done in the first place.

Glad that you got a result in the end!
