are these knives any good ?
i know they have been on offer before

So, do they charge you £7.99 to do a credit check type thing?

There is $1,000,000 USD waiting for you in the Gambia. Just pay us £7.99 to cover the postage...

Remember the rules, if it sounds to good to be true, it normally is.

How, where? Do I need these knives?

Think I got them for £1.99 (p+p) a few years ago. The first lot rusted, so returned them for replacement. They are alright. Probably worth £7.99

we've been happy with these knives. Had hem for 5-6 years now, didn't rust, one knife's tip broke - but that's due to the Husband trying to open cans with it...

Is this a deal or a Freebie?

A freebie because the P&P you have to pay, you will get back.

Why, what's your reason?

£7.99 not a freebie then

You get the £7.99 back so that then works out free doesn't it?

Definitely spam why pay £7.99!!!

I have Jean Patrique knives and they simply don't stay sharp! I got them free with a sharpening steel, and by heck, do I need it!

BUT, you are getting 5 knives for £1.60 each, delivered. That really can't be bad at all

Edit: Just realised this is in freebies, not deals - maybe if it was moved it would be better received?

they are good but have not received money back and still waiting on knives

The website in the OP is NOT Jean Patrique's website, it's a scam! Their website is jean-patrique.co.uk/

I bought the knives. beware they are sharp. They look very professional.I too was miffed about the £7.99 too.A courier comes out with them not Royal Mail. The catch on the £7.99 is you dont get it back, it will be knocked off the price if you get something else from the catalogue

You can get £20 back if you spend £50 on the jean patruque website

Jean Patrique are always trying to sell knife sets for about this money, quoting ridiculous RRPs or "value". They aren't useless, but they way they are sold is a scam.

I got these a few years ago. They are free, you just pay the postage. They are still nice and sharp and I use them all the time.
I wouldn't have paid £120 for them but for what is in effect £8 they are excellent.
@musicdoctor - This is the SAME company, same address, phone number etc, just a different web site.

Mmmmmmm not sure about this one

Or a copy that's copying the genuine address?!

You will spend the rest of your life trying to stop the spam emails they send you.
