Replies from those who have requested info from Wuaki states;
"I emailed Wuaki TV and asked them to confirm I am getting a CC and when will it arrive. They got back within 10 minutes, confirmed the offer purchase and said it will arrive within 10 days (might be working days, they didn't specify)."
So we are looking at up to 10 working days for delivery

True Detective (£18.99) is now showing as SOLD OUT so the new price is £23.99

Its supposed to be digital content, so I don't understand how it can be sold out!!!

I'm wondering this too. I can't find anything that confirms it is though. Even read the T&Cs, and while it mentions a contract, it never specifies a monthly charge.
Wuaki is more like Blinkbox than say Netflix. You pay to watch certain shows, rather than a subscription (as far as I know anyway!)
(there may also be a subscription option, but this is not for that)
and goes on about 3 years?
Seems first month is free.
Nowhere in the Ts&Cs is that name even mentioned, nor is there mention of any subscription.
Can anyone confirm or not that this does sign you up for Selection?
Roasting hot deal!!! I wonder how many they have got!
Very confusing

"Smart Entertainment
The latest new releases and our huge catalogue selection.
Rent, buy or subscribe - you decide!"
Also lists only the TV series in the receipt, no subscription. I think we're all good here.
EDIT: I logged in after I ordered. The 'subscribe to Waiku Selection' button is still there.
That is referring to distance selling rules, you can buy a product online to try out and if you decide not to keep it, then you can return the device within 14 calendar days and get a refund.
Still of the mind its to good to be true, but can see nothing in the terms suggesting otherwise. Even if you did not want the TV series (and for me finally a chance to get in on Game of Thrones), its the cheapest way to buy a Chromecast!
had a good look and could not see anywhere, but anyone know if there is a time limit to watching the TV series you choose?
There response is "Nope, none at all, no commitment.
So yes get box set of detective for £19 and free chromecast. So very HOT
You own the digital copy forever
from the FAQ:
downloading purchased Wuaki.tv movies or TV series is currently not possible
if you buy a movie or TV series, it will be available in your Library for online streaming for 3 years
Does it matter, getting a chromeast for £19 instead of £30
Clever bit of marketing there by putting the 2 vastly more popular series at £5 & £6 more but c'est la vie, it's a cracking deal however you look at it.
It also might be worth stating the fact that this isn't a subscription deal in the opening post.
