Free Coach travel to all Fulham FC Premier League away games in 2013-14 AND free tickets to every away game for junior season ticket holders

Similar to the much publicised Stoke City initiative, this gives all Fulham supporters free coach travel to and from away games in the Barclays Premier league for the 2013/14 season.

On the basis that coaches normally cost around £30 return a game this could potentially work out at saving £30 x 16 = £480

AND Junior season ticket holders will also be eligible for free tickets and coach travel to all away Barclays Premier League games in 2013-14 provided they are with an adult ticket holder

Inevitably this post is going to give rise to comments about how poor Fulham's away support is.............. yawn.......

Regardless, this is still in my opinion a fantastic offer which actually goes a step further than the Stoke initiative by offering free tickets to under 16's.

Nice to see a club giving something back to the fans

"Winning football matches is very much a team effort and the Club would like to thank the many fans who already travel on a regular basis and provide such passionate backing for our players."

Club Captain Brede Hangeland said:

“Our fans have been tremendous so far this season and they are so important in creating a fantastic atmosphere on matchdays both at home and away. All of us in the team hope that we will see, and of course hear, fans of all ages cheering us on at away grounds up and down the country, because of this great incentive offered by the Club.”

From the club's website

Visiting supporters are a vital part of the match atmosphere. We hope that fans of all ages will travel with us in record numbers, providing that all-important support throughout the season in the Barclays Premier League.

Haven't seen Sunderland posting a similar deal yet though!

Good deal

Sounds a brilliant deal if you are daft enough to watch(any) premier league football

We are losing Jol, in the bottom three, and losing Michael Jackson... bad Times

Is this the Chelsea reserves?

we should never have removed the MJ statue, we've angered the gods!

It's a shame they removed the MJ statue. It was a thing of absolute beauty. It warmed the heart.

It was loved universally by true Fulham fans.

This is a brilliant deal, definitely worth posting too! Not a Fulham fan, but wish my club recognised our dedication.

These coaches are good, but for the mighty Fulham army we should have Tanks

Just like Stoke this is NOT the club being generous it is part of the PL directive to help away fans instigated by the FSF. Each club has to allocate a certain amount (£250k iirc) for their travelling fans but it's up to them how they do it.

It's wonderful seeing Fulham doing so badly. We've taken more to away games in League 1 than they have.

From your friends in Brentford

Good deal

well done Fulham

Great deal - well done Fulham! (from a Rangers fan who enjoyed a trip to Fulham for a friendly a few years back)

maybe if they did what orient did and give free season tickets to students theyd be top of the league lol (sorry jol)

Regardless of whether the club is or isn't being generous, it is still a better deal than the other 18 premier league clubs who don't offer free transport - makes you wonder what they're doing with their 250k?

Not so, it was Stoke that suggested this, it was discussed but not taken forward but Stoke did it anyway and now others are following their lead

Good football is far to expensive.

Your infinitely more successful neighbors offer subsidized away travel (£10 return coach tickets) to Newcastle,Sunderland etc.Being a much bigger club with significant away support, the £250k isn't enough to cover all away games, however no need to wonder what Chelsea FC are doing for their supporters.

Why daft ?

Don't care about Fulham or any of the over paid football wasters, but I'll still say well done to them for helping those who DO, in these hard times. Shame a few of the "bigger" clubs didn't care as much for their own fans as Fulham do.

Well, I would've thought Abramovich's roubles could fund far more than just subsidised away coaches. Clearly your need to emphasise the fact you are a bigger club is quite sad really. Oh, one last thing, in England we have neighbours not neighbors.

Good deal, more clubs who need the away support should subsidise it. Fulham are the most boring club in the league though, an opinion reinforced when they got the MJ statue removed..can't be having an interesting aspect, eh?

COLD as its Fulham

I know London is expensive but £30 from Fulham to Chelsea..... phew! I bet even a cab is cheaper (_;)
