Olympic Coke Glasses
Wednesday 25th July - Tuesday 14th August

The Coke Glasses promotion returns to McDonald’s for the seventh successive year, this time with an Olympic twist. As a proud sponsor of the London 2012 Olympics, we’re giving our customers the opportunity to own their very own commemorative Coke Glass and Wristband to help celebrate this truly unique event.

There are six commemorative limited edition glasses, each with a different coloured removable wristband which fits around the base of the glass.

One glass will be given out free with every Large Meal or Premium Salad throughout the campaign window.

*This year there is no Coke Zone element to the promotion.*

You can purchase a glass separately for £1.49.

Nice glass,Wristband seems a bit pointless other than the colour wouldn't stick it on my glass. Also don't get why a fast food chain i.e making the future generation obese is sponsoring sporting events.

Thats nice, but last time i went to mcdonalds i puked up my own spleen...!!!

I am going to get sooooooooo fat when this starts.

Sell on eBay in years to come

This looks sick might get the salad

Supermod

These always do really well! Cheers nicster

The London Olympic logo is so dumb, looks cheap and tacky, can't believe they paid over a million to design that. I think it speaks volume about the whole Olympic charade.

McDonalds sell salads???
When did that happen? X)

Nice glasses... and I like McD's so there you foodie police!!! (Also I'm nowhere near fat, go to the gym 3 time a week.)

>...but I enjoy a McDonalds now and again, as part of a healthy lifestyle! It's not McD's that makes people fat, its the fact they spend most of their lives, sat on their ****!

how much is a large meal

hope the glasses are thicker than last time; they break so easily

Easy... CREAM.... Cash Rules Everything Around Me

They give them MILLIONS for the sponsorship.

I got the sack from McDoodles after only two weeks. I got caught eating the donuts whilst watching the washing machine finish it's full wash cycle...

I wanted to be a five star general..

Woo, olympics, let's get obese!

CHASE THE BURGER : New Olympic sport for next year, they cannot discriminate against big folk.

Get to, 5 McDonalds, eat 5 burgers, and get back to the stadium the fastest with receipts... DO NOT EAT THE RECEIPTS.

my local were selling 2 for £1.50 yesterday for charity

not sure if olympic ones
but store may be doing a clear out of old ones if you're interested

I imagine that the people who frequent McDonalds would have trouble fitting that on their wrist.

If we go to McDonald's we share the meals so it's ends up quite cheap and we still get plenty to eat, the wraps and dele meals aren't bad value. Going to the Olympic football games I bet you won't get a free glass there or at any of the other events there's a list of banned items no way will they allow glass,

I think that 24 billion spent so far shadows anything anyone can say really at his point with just over a week to go... So leave it. Either enjoy it, don't watch it or forget about it. Well past the point of worrying about it or how the money could have been spent. Just have a burger and get a glass for the kids.

I will have to go to McDonalds when the promo is on to get these as the glasses do look good.

And all you sheep who think eating this food makes you fat, read about the scientist who ate junk food for 3 months who ended up slimmer and healthier.

P.S. Vegetables need have warning labels on them as they can cause thyroid problems.

Are these the standard size that don't hold 1 x 330ml can of drink? (_;)

"One Coke Glass and Wristband should be given with the purchase of every large meal or premium salad. Or alternatively, can be purchased for £1.49 each." From the staff portal regarding purchasing separately from a meal

Also, after the current promo (cheddar deluxe, cheese and onion bites and wispa choc/gold mcflurry), the M burger is coming back - not sure on what the chicken burger is - along with potato wedges, and I think the mcflurrys are going to be galaxy and galaxy caramel. Will check when i'm at work tomorrow to clarify and let people know the dates

Didn't see that part lol, as it's right at the bottom of the page. (I have access to the site as I worked there for a couple of weeks a few years ago)

Looks like they're all the same glass this year with different wristbands?

You have to buy a meal to get the glass, hence not free.
