its charity alright . .

Original Poster

what do you mean?

Surely you must give a donation?
Who could possibly take them for free?

I agree, they are things meant for charity. Why would you want to take them for free?!

They have outlived their lives at a charitable item.
you're saying you'd rather they were thrown away (at cost to sainsburys and the council) than someone gets benefit from them?
this is even better than charity...theres no loss to anyone?!
you lot are ridiculous

not true - ppl still raising money for comic relief and sure sales will still go to proceeds. e.g. don't believe oxfam are giving away

I would suggest (ignoring the moral question) sainburys have "paid" for them and re-cup there costs back from expected sales, and as shown above will SAVE Sainsburys money by not putting them in a skip.

Come on guys if anyone does "blag" this for FREE at least put something in a charity pot?

i work at sainsburies and they arn't giving red nose things away for free as far as i know. All items have been reduce but not free yet.
