It's a good deal but note that you only get £125 prepaid card if you go for the maximum package. You get varying amounts of card depending on the package you choose:-

Was thinking about going to sky myself but heard loads of issues with sky q and sky broadband. So ee is better for me.

Anybody here been with EE? What's service been like?

I ordered Fibre Max BB from EE last week with the offer of a free google home. Havent been activated yet, so phoned them to see if I could change the offer to the Black Friday deal. They said they couldn't. So I said id cancel the Broadband and re-apply. They then said that it would take 30 days for me to be removed from the system and its only then I could re-apply. So I would then not get the offer, because it would have expired. Gutted

My brother has had no issues with Sky bband standard, but EE was the worst company he's dealt with. YMMV.

I got that deal last year, so I suppose the ee deal is the only available option for me..?

I know a few people with ee and had no issues and all left sky due to speed issues so unsure what to do.Alsi found dealing with ee over the phone is fine and I ha e 4 contracts with them and never an issue.

Hence my saying YMMV. TBH I think they're probably all fine when they work, and customer services can vary from great to shabby. I just go for the best price and remember the experience for next time.

I was on the look out again for a new broadband deal since BT have increased prices. I'm considering Vodaphone, EE, Plusnet and Sky but must admit choosing a supplier out of all of these is very difficult. It seems there is no stand out performer in this space and most reviews are mostly made up my disgruntled customers. Based on price alone for max fibre the Vodaphone deal looks to be the best on the market at present..

Ee is good am getting standard broadband If you have low signal give them a call they change the setting and you will be fine... at first I was not getting WiFi on second floor then rang them and they sorted it out now it works fine

Vodafone would be the last people I'd go for broadband with.No customer service whatsoever. Toss up between sky and ee for me as I'm leaving plusnet due to traffic management and 45mins wait on the phone for customer service.Good when I get through but terrible long wait.

Is there a stand out provider to go for? I guess people have good and bad experiences. I'm tempted by this deal.

BT offer the best service in my opinion and the deal there offering now is the same as this. £29 for 38mbs and a £125 reward card.

I personally don't think there is any one stand out broadband provider unfortunately. I think it will either be this deal or Sky for me. I've had EE before and don't recall any issues with them as such.

I'm currently with BT and the best they can offer me is £38.99 for infinity 2 (inc line rental).

Yeah I'm in exactly the same situation as you

currently with SSE £21pm for fibre BB + u/l phone which for 18 months was a standout deal (not everyone's cup of tea but worked out OK for me).
That deal comes to end early Jan and rises to £40pm, so this deal with £69 quidco and £75 prepaid knocks EE down from £39pm to £31pm*
Plus as I'm with EE for one of my kids mobiles they get a 5Gb boost pm too

Anything better that? I call US and Ireland a lot which is a deal breaker with a few companies!

*providing quidco pays out

I had the standard broadband once it was an absolute nightmare, no service and customer service is abismal. Keep you on hold for hours get through to an Indian call center, you explain the problem they pass you on to someone else, you wait another hour only to get through to someone who has no idea why your calling and will probably pass you on to someone else, and on it goes. It really is that bad... I moved to BT.

Ee customer service is in the UK and it's been fine for me.Going from ee to bt is even worse.BT are atrocious compared to ee.

And who do you talk to now your with BT.

I've not called them in a long while not due good service, more due to the fear of having to speak to an Indian call centre.

Are they British only now?

As for Vodafone I'm wondering do you just hear all the negatives and none of the positives because it certainly seems like that to me regarding the mobile network.

I took a gamble on them over a year ago now as they promised 30 day money back guarantee if the service wasn't what you expected

For me in my area and the areas that I generally visit Vodafone has won hands down over EE for me regarding reception and 4g speed I must add I am not in high-speed London area

Suppose so Vodafone do win a few awards to give them credit for most complained about mobile network quarter after quarter year after year.

Not for me, can't fault them, tested a few speeds today on travels alongside my sons EE.

Better signal and faster 4g

Was with Orange from the beginning and in the last few years found they went downhill, think was partially due to 'network optimisation' in other words getting rid of masts.

Just because they pay a yank to bleat about how good they are doesn't mean they are.

I had Orange broadband for free before with mobile deal...I ended up paying someone else in the end as it wasn't even worth free

Regardless it's not factual in all cases, if it was I wouldn't have stuck with them after 30 days and renewed after the 12 months

As for the Fibre can't comment on that just yet

Facts are facts Vodafone are turd just admit you've made a bad choice.

For mobile not at all, quite the opposite. EE are the Turds for me hence the need to move from them. Fibre remains to be seen, will have the 30 days to find out

I've done the same plus getting the £50 bill credit to end my plusnet deal.

What is the £50 bill credit for mate?

I just went for this - the £145 was only a 24 hour deal on TCB, which has now ended so should probably be removed from the title.

It's tracked on TCB but only at £50 at the moment

Mine tracked at £50 but I put in a claim with TCB and have a screenshot of the offer.

If I were you I would put a claim in too.
