Click the "Go to deal" button and fill in your details to register to get free delivery for life from Scan. They are a great computer components site, which I have used many times.

I've registered for this, so I'll see what happens...hope I don't get bombarded with junk mail!

great
thanks emma
scan are good for a few components
i bought from them

this is a great offer..make scan cheaper than most (their delivery is extortionate usually) on pc components. I already had this from hexus.net forums, great to see its been made public.

Great thanks for that +

Thank you
I Hope it works for N. Ireland.

Do you know where this comes from ]emmajk42?
Like ]MoneySavingG I too have free delivery via Hexus.Net but this offer looks like it's designed specifically for gamers, possibly 3XS customers received this via E-Mail??

Thanks for that

I'm always ordering components and other bits and bobs from them.

It comes from i29 ]multiplay.co.uk

It is where I am now, and loads of us have signed up as they have a stall here, and also some sexy promo girls handing out free stuff.

Thanks

I've used scan before and found them very good
I shall spread the word:thumbsup:

Nice one emma!!

excellent thanks emma

thanks emma! a hot deal is a long lasting deal...! :giggle:

Kewl, i only live 5mins from this place back home (Bolton) but I'm at uni in sheff so this is exactly wat i need.

Cheers

has anyone got a reply from them yet?

Took me 6 weeks to get a refund from a dead mobo they gave me, but that was a long time ago.

If this works I might be willing to risk giving them my custom again

I've purchased a number of PC hardware from Scan and they are great on comunications stating when your order is dispatched and fast.

Last year I purchased a Geforce XFX 7800 Extreme 490 core verrsion but it was developing faults and just was'nt working properly, sent an e-mail off to scan and got a RMA number, sent it back and got great comunnications saying that it was infact running hot and a new 1 was dispatch that same day, if i remember rightly i got the new card back with in 3-4 days from the day of sending.

Was very happy with service would also recommend.

As for the free delivery, i've sign up as i'll be looking to buy new hardware with in a year from now so this will come in handy thanks:thumbsup:

Indeed, but is it something that is exclusive to i29 attendees, or is it available to everyone?

I bought something from them over a month ago due to the free delivery and part of it didn't work, it's been a nightmare trying to get it sorted.
On this occassion their Customer Service has been awful.
I've not had a problem with them previously but I was very dissapointed in their handling of this situation.

i bet they won't do it for NI!!!

great find, hope it works. i've spent loads with them over the years but i normally go collect as they are only 20mins away. this is better though as there can be big queues at their store in bolton.

cheers

Hope it works too - I have used them in the past when some things were on offer but normally the delivery charges are just too high.

i worked there for 3 weeks, its run by idiots who pay peanuts, but their prices are cheap ish. their delivery is stupid £6.03+vat MINIMUM.

thanks for this.

also if you use hexus.net forums (scan section) 25+ posts and spend £20 min then you can get free delivery, you have to post regulary tho.

Ha, thats nothing , its 28 quid for delivery to N ireland....

No I don't believe it would be free to NI, but if it works out, it would at least knowck off the standard delivery charge.

I haven't had a response yet though... I do hope to hear from them. Apparently it's supposed to be for that i29 thing, but we'll see how it goes.

i went to i29

Me too. Really.

yeah, and me ;-)
thanks emma!

southern ireland is £60 min hehe.

for irish ppl who want memory use: www.memory-configurator.com , its based in ireland.

This is truly great deal. Scan prices are (sometimes) quite good but their delivery charge is extortionate. Voted 'Hot'

Did anyone get the e-mail the spoke about sending you?

I signed up for it but theres no evidence to know as to whether it's actually worked?

No one has anything yet... wouldnt expect anything until at least a few days!

Scan are closed on Sunday, i don't know if staff work on Sunday taking internet orders and processing cards but if anything does happen i would expect it to be in the morning when they open or later, i can't see them offering free delivery for life, but theres nothing to loose, it would save me going to them as normally you have to wait ages for collection as it is run by monkeys.

link isn't working for me, i get a 403 forbidden

offer over?

Yeah - It looks like it's gone now.

I managed to get in yesterday. I hope they honor it. Scan's delivery prices usually stop me from using them.

Otherwise you have to be an established Hexus member to get Scan's free delivery.

Considering how often some people seem to post here that shouldn't be hard for some of them

Are we waiting on a confirmation email from them or do we just have to buy and see?

I never used Scan Computers before, so if they won't give us what they advertised, I will make sure not to use them anyway!

The offer said that they would send a confirmation email. I've received nothing as yet... not looking hopeful :?

I gave'em a call today. They said that public response was overwhelming and they are really busy updating details etc. They told me that I should expect email from them during next couple of days.
Funny enough, they've lost sale today because of it.

Great stuff Kommunist. Thanks for doing that. Good to hear

I've been a customer of scan for over six years and they are pretty good at what they do. However, I have my reservations about the free delivery offer for life - i don't think they are going to fulfil it (its too good of an offer).

I would be interested to know if anyone has had any email confirmations.
