you need a code from an advert, care to elaborate on where you saw this advert?

Hi, i have also been looking for the code and expecting a RSPCA representative to be calling me within 48hrs. I would also appreciate information as to where you saw this ad.

This appeared on this site about a week ago, and has been on the other main freebie sites too, i called and ordered, they were lovely and never asked for a code.
I guess so many people have called since it was first postd they've cottoned on that something fishy's happened.

That said, the t-shirt is advertised on their website, with no code given, just says to call them for a survey and free t-shirt. ]Clicky here for details

ps you can also get freebies from the church- go to their mass and down the wine when they aren't looking.

These freebies are to give people more incentive to give to charity, not for scavs to blag. Please give some cash to the charity of you intend to claim the t-shirt, otherwise you are draining an already underfunded charity of vital resources.

Argghh, why does my first post have to be a rant

This would stop me from donating to this charity as they are wasting donations on t-shirts to give to people who arent even donating. This is not encouraging people to donate, just using money which could have been better spent.

Not claiming the t-shirt, and not donating.

I agree with shoot - if you are going to take a t-shirt from the at least donate something

true kelly- a slightly strange promotion which seems doomed to waste money.
Please don't abuse it everyone! Hopefully some profit will be made.

As you see from my post,i will donate later,my choice  Basically, I get paid at the end of month  this is my reason for waiting, also when and if the t shirt does arrive,it's a going to be a gift, along side a donation for someone for xmas.....as i normally buy from the Good gift web site (charity based) this seemed like a good option instead
Please if you intend to go for this.....donate something, now or laters...:santa:

But i wholly understand your rant....

It's also possible that these t-shirts were a donation to the course and didn't cost the RSPCA anything... or again a lot less than projected donations received...

Voted hot.

If they were a donation then they could have sold them and put the money back into the charity

A lot of people will order a t-shirt and not donate.

They get a load of free advertising from people talking about free t-shirt, plus actual advertising from people wearing the shirt. Im sure most people will be obliged to donate for getting the t-shirt as well. Quite a good idea in all.

Some charities are minted though. The NSPCC and the Guide Dogs for the Blind have more money than they know what to do with. Not saying the same applies here though.

It feels like people are just phoning for the freebie but what about the sufering animals, i already donate, and when people ask where i got the shirt from i will tell them, The rspca so they will be aware of the charity. I rekon they have had them donated of some sort. I do agree tho, please only get one if u are donating

Well, I got the question was how much you'd like to donate

Getting the T-Shirt without donating is wrong (whether it advertises or not). By the way this rated hot, but what was it about a book

Got my t shirt today....and it gives you the option to donate on the survey...and i will donate an amount that seems fair......

You can buy extra t shirts for £10 by telephoning 08007819870

got one. he asked if i wanted to donate to cover the P+P charges. I think £5 covers a tshirt pretty well :o)

I have to say I dont agree with this at all unless people are giving a decent donation to cover their costs (Which I very much doubt judging by some peoples comments).

At the end of the day its a very worthwhile charity and with a dog being put down every hour in the UK (over 9000 healthy dogs are killed ever year) how can people have the cheek to say they have loads of money

No one should be taking advantage of deals they are not entitled to which will cost a worthwile charity money it cant afford.

Sorry but thats the way I see it.

I have no problem taking advantage of cash rich private companies that make loads of profit but you have to draw the line somewhere and taking advantage of a charity is definately over the line.

If you are going to take advantage of the offer do the right thing and make a decent donation.

Has anyone actually received their T-shirt yet. I ordered mine ages ago?

got mine! worth a few quid donation. washed well too!

I totally agree, if you go for this, consider donating something as this is a charity and they rely on donations.

Totally agree, for those who blagged one of these, without even considering making a donation I don't know how you can sleep at night. You should be ashamed. The problem with HUKD is that it attracts greedy people.
