Taken from the Tesco website.....

How it works

1. Choose how much in Clubcard vouchers you’d like to exchange using the basket on the right. Any change left over from your Clubcard vouchers will be added back into your Clubcard Account.

2. We’ll aim to send you two emails within 30 minutes – please note this may take longer due to additional security checks. One will be your order confirmation. The other will contain your token codes and instructions on how to use them.

3. Print the email containing your token codes and take it with you to the restaurant.

The dessert is only free if you ask for it to be free before you start your meal, we assumed it would be automatic as it was widely advertised in store however after we had paid we realised it hadn't been taken off, we complained to the manager but just got fobbed off with excuses that it was "too difficult to sort it" as they had "closed the table" so just be aware!

Email their customer service and complain, complain, complain. It is easy for them to do as it's just codes. Quite simply don't take it and complain until you get a refund or free vouchers. Their email customer service was really good when I had a similar issue.

I've still, to this day, have not met anyone that's paid full price in Pizza Express... is there a rule or something?

I've used this deal twice with my partner, never mentioned the free dessert deal and got 2 free desserts on each occasion, in fact on the first occasion the server knew nothing about it! Used Tesco vouchers too, it's advertised on the menu, so as long as you spend £11.95 x2 on starters and 2x mains it should be applied automatically, probably best to check your receipt.

I think it depends on the waiters training or willingness to apply the discount. We decided to have starters and main before seeing this actually highlighted on the menu. We asked the waiter if this was correct to be told yes but only if we were not using any other codes or vouchers.

Was the Bull Ring branch.

Wife and 2 friends went to Sidcup branch Friday. The waitress gave them the dessert menus. They all chose their free desert. She came back to take the orders and said 'we have no deserts available'

I wouldn't stand for that... You need to put a complaint in
