What a coincidence! We have booked a £15 Travelodge room in Cardiff on the 16th. We can spend the day doing the Dr Who tour, watch the film, and then move on to our next stop! Without worrying about drinking and driving! - voted HOT thanks!

Thanks for this. I saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind at the Leeds Roundhay Park venue around 10 years ago. It was fantastic...but I'm not sure about Dirty Dancing tho'...still it's free.

What's the Dr Who tour?? I live near Cardiff and have never heard of it - am also a massive Dr Who fan too. Is there a website or something?

Thanks

I wouldn't call that a Dr Who tour as such, more a room with a few cast-offs from the BBC prop dept. with a (very expensive) shop at the end...

The Christmas episode with Catherine Tate was filmed in the building where I work! Sadly, they waited for everyone to go home before all the actors arived :-(

Yea, went to the DR Who "tour" the other day. It took us about 15 minutes to get around and that was looking at everything for ages, not really that impressive. Loads of props, and costumes. Cyberman suit is cool though! Sorry its not a good review, but for £5 I expected more.
Sorry for the off topic.

Mike
