Each freebie I find doesn't have a note attached to it advising me if it works or not. All freebies are trial and error to be honest. You try some, you find out they don't work so you move on. You should try having a positive attitude on things now and again, maybe it will make you feel better Give it a go Breathe in, Breathe out, Breathe in, Breathe out now slowly release the negative energy Your welcome

Most freebies you post will never arrive, I have no idea where you find them.
I just hate data collectors, nothing to do with positive attitude.
I just know you will not receive any and no one will either.
Not very nice to condone data collecting.
You're very welcome!

That doesn't work... No chance to order sample...

Vanity makes you poor and those Rich !

drshea.co.uk/sho…tml says that the 5ml sample is free, but that there is a £1 delivery charge

Even if the postage were free, don't bother. The amount they give you is useless, and certainly have no value compared with what your personal information is worth to them.

And on top of that, apply to a whole bunch of these skincare and fragrance samples and see how many actually turn up. Or shall I save you the trouble: it won't be many.

Correct!

"...up to 100%..."

It always makes me laugh when I see this in a product's description...so it could be 100% but it could equally be 99%, 75% or even 1% which is still within the range of "up to" - as it's never going to be more than 100%.

If you had a savere nut alergy, would you eat something that was "up to 100% nut free"?

I 100% agree with you. I also hate data collectors.

I just wanted to point out that I don't know which ones work and which don't before i post.

I find them on various different sites to be honest. I first try to apply for the freebie myself, then once I apply I post onto this site. I also am aware that i wont be receiving most things I apply for but I have received a fare amount of freebies I've applied for in the past so that keeps me going.

But for future reference, I'm on your side about data collectors, I just am unaware which is real or which is fake.

Enjoy the rest of your day Flora

Just wondering what this actually is? From the description it's like a moisturiser??

Why are you suddenly posting all these deals on HUKD though?

Some of them look very dodgy.

The issue is, normally people post freebies that they themselves that find personally and directly.

So they're "authentic" if you will - more likely to work - and not a basic free sample that may arrive, but something substantial typically.

If you're just reposting deals from gratisfaction and freebie sites - then the quality can be very poor.

And it feels like spam because in one day the freebie section can be full of your deals.

Before you started posting the freebies section looked very different.

Now it's got its own typical freebie site listings filling it up.

That's why you get these reactions and animosity.

You should adopt some duty of care if posting a deal. If you just repost stuff without checking it out and actually using it yourself, then people will take obvious issue with that.

Posting a rubbish deal and saying "well I'm just reposting it", where the site may be unscrupulous isn't good enough to be honest. Do some quality control or don't post please.

They all have an element of data collection, we gotta balance out how much we are getting in exchange for our data and in this case, they are offering 5ml for our data, now note that the smallest body butter they sell comes at 50ml for the pocket size, and that's already small, so 5ml is ridiculous and my data definitely worth more than that.

But to each their own.

Wow haha really!!!

You my friend need to seriously get a job or something.

Calm down buddy, it’s a freebie section so all I’m doing is posting freebies I find. I am no expert so I have no clue which freebies are real or fake but all I know is I’m posting so people can enjoy what I enjoy.

Now I’m sure every member on this site is old enough to figure out which freebies are no good.

So calm down, if you have a problem with my posts then don’t use them. You are nobody to tell me to stop posting.

Now I will carry on as I was and please you find something better to waste your time on.

Gosh you're offensive
I'll see if there's a way to ignore your posts from my feed then.
The point is, the freebies section is now filled with your posts.
And your replies are pretty offensive. If anyone needs to get a job, it seems it's you. Perhaps you're posting these "deals" as your job. Professional spammer.

Ahh, there you go.

Thanks... gawd I wish there was a way to mute the deals.

Very dodgy poster in my valid as anybody else's opinion, I got banned for speaking up, so watch what you say!!! most of the posts are either reposting of others good work or stuff that needs personal info. This person appears 1 month ago then posts multiple posts the same time every night???????????????

Supermod

If anyone has any concerns about any threads on HotUKDeals then please drop us a report and we'll take a look. Obviously we cannot confirm whether something will arrive but we can obviously do a bit of digging to see if they have form with not sending items.

Please do not just derail threads with this discussion as it really isn't helpful. Thanks.
