What the OP forgot to mention is that once you've got your free beer, uninstall the app, and then reinstall with another email address sign-up and keep doing this, for unlimited beers...

Hope that helps those of you who love beer like me..

Kindest regards

Used thus a few times. You also get a free drink on your birthday so put your date of birth in. I never use my actual date of birth. I just set it as having a birthday a couple of weeks after the sign up date.
Is this open to all or do you need a football club season ticket to benefit?
Open to all its just to encourage visits when sport is on in the pubs and offers discounts etc

Horrible, soulless pubs though. Chains like these are a major contributor to free-houses closing down at the rate they are
Good freebie.

Greene king pubs are rubbish though. From what I've seen, they buy out potentially nice pubs (such as with Riverside views), smarten them up and then charge stupidly high prices for rubbish beer.

Take their "IPA" for example. Nothing more than a very boring standard bitter. Cheap in cans and bottles from supermarkets and even in non Greene king pubs I have seen it at between £2 and £2.50.

Go to an actual Greene king pub though and prices are though the roof. £4 for a pint of "IPA"? Pass.

Lucas - chains are not the problem here.

Chains actually do everything by the book in terms of standards. There's vigorous health and safety in place and hygiene standards are pretty high. It's always a safe bet in chains to have a decent quality pint.

A lot of independent free houses though are poor.

Honestly I've seen it all. Beer coming out funny (not kept well, lines not cleaned or not rinsed properly). Staff using a straw to push off excess head. Even believe it or not, used beer glasses getting washed in mop buckets an being put back out for use. Washed glasses being dried on a counter with a desk fan aimed at them. To top it off, often paying a premium price for the beer as well.

A lot of the pubs closing down are because of the people that run them.

There's a pub near me that isn't a chain and has absolute potential. On site brewery, decent themed pub, open fireplace. Yet it's failing and will likely close soon. Why? Because of the person running it. It's always dirty there, the brewery isn't used to its full potential and often has bad batches brewed (so the beer tastes like rubbish most the time). It's grown a reputation of being a bad pub and so people vote with their feet .

Have to disagree with this blanket statement. My local is a Greene King and much more like a traditional boozer than most independent pubs in London. It all depends on the landlord running it.
Nice one my birthday is real soon lol
Absolutely nothing wrong with the Greene King pubs I've drunk in.

Jesus Christ... It's a free beer deal not an invitation to a rally...
Cannot do the uninstall - reinstall trick on this app like you can with ember inns and sizzling pubs apps.
It asks for your mobile number to send a code and declines if it has already been used.
