Not too sure, it's not super informative on the site, worth checking in store if you're passing
It says models can't be purchased (and the £18 set in the picture can be!) so presumably it will be a mini build - from memory I think we did one which was about 10 bricks to make a duck. Good if you have a store close by but probably not worth a long journey!
Not a great day choice LEGO! My kids at school & it’s over an hours drive to our nearest LEGO store!!
Guess just like the Father’s Day freebie we’ll be missing this one too

glad it's not just me who thinks it's a real shame they always do midweek events. I wish they would mix it up a little and do some on a weekend to give people who live more than 10 mins away from the store a chance to more easily attended. My kids get excited every time they see a build event on the calendar and I have to break it to them time after time we can't go as it's on a school day and at an unsuitable time for us.

Smyths do lego build stuff on weekends but they are easily accessible for most so you have to be there early.
Shame you can’t do these without a kid cos I’d totally do it while kid was at school & surprise them with it.

Yeah the kids really enjoy going to the Smyths events. They have gotten some really cool little polybags and posters from a few. They can get a little hectic but attending early seems to help that like you said. Only downsides are they usually are geared towards the giveaway side rather than the building style events that LEGO store try to do. Plus they are rather sporadic throughout the year instead of LEGOs monthly builds.
wait till your kids come to you with a 99 pounds lego sets at the end lol
To be fair this is a Duplo event aimed at 3-5 year olds so makes sense that it's at a time when bigger kids won't be there (share above sentiments re: in-store Lego events though!)

I just say no we haven’t come here for that. If you want it you will have to save your pocket money
I usually do a deal that if they can do their chores & save half the price I will add the other half.
