This has been on my O2 app for the past month or so. Im not taking up the offer as it's cheaper to buy an O2 contract elsewhere. I'd rather wait my contract out and then pay less per month.

Not due for upgrade till April but was checking for a way to pay off and port number to the new unlimited virgin contract.

Saw saw this and thought might help others in same situation.
Nothing for me unfortunately- £400 to upgrade 🙈
This isn't too bad, although no good for me, no offers to upgrade on current deal ending August 2018 unfortunately, good for anyone it works for though!

One word, Overpriced!!!
02 badly messed up my refresh deal... default notices/threats of debt collectors.... even thou they confirmed I owed absolutely nothing.

Currently sitting on 6 months free line rental/credit so will happily leave once a good deal pops up
Thought I could take any refresh option on o2, but that’s not the case, they Taylor what the offer you and I can’t figure out how how to chose something like this hotukdeals.com/dea…677

Unless O2 sort out their data allowance/prices then they'll be going the way of the dinosaurs soon. Can't see a reason to stay with them once my contract ends in Jan.
O2 are the best network provider out there. No problem whatsoever with network coverage unlike the rest of the companies out there!!

Would rather pay a bit extra than be with a company like 3 or Virgin that have rubbish network coverage!!

Yeah, its definitely opened my eyes since people post deals to 3rd party websites that offer better prices for o2 contracts. I particularly don't get how the same tariffs can be found on the O2 website for £20+ dearer. Loyalty means naff all.
Now if only they'd pay off my EE contract to bring me back to O2...
On the face of it this is a good deal, but only if you upgrade through O2. If you want to upgrade through a third party such as Carphone Warehouse you will still have to pay the upgrade fee.

Over your contract you'll probably be paying a lot more. I'm not voting either way on this because it might be good for some people.

Have you check to see they haven't left a negative mark on your credit file as a result or the error?
Been with O2 for 15 years now, never had any issues. They built a mast 300 yards up the road from me too so I get perfect 4G when in the house. Anyone on EE who comes here can't get anything.
Have you seen how much the O2 refresh prices are? Scandalous

This is why I like o2, when they’re wrong, they try and make amends

Haha... far from it. They didn’t want to stump up anything, was only the threat of an official complaint to the financial ombudsman made them pay attention.

The total amount is made up of £10 here and there... they absolutely messed up the account over a 2month period reaching a point where they didn’t have a clue how to fix the problem
If you've paid 19 months of line rental and airtime you've significantly paid over anyway. O2 are the worse 4gnetwork along with voda they where dragged kicking and screaming to upgrade my EDGE to 4g and I expect no 2ca so cold from me I'm afraid. It's good if your eligible but I suspect most buy china from this site nowadays.
Nothing for me too, im on a 7 plus contract too, are you on a 30+gb data contract OP? As im sure you get a free upgrade after 12 months if you are

Extortionate upgrade deals, if you go with any of these you need your head looking at.

I do,the angle is to keep you there and offer you very little. I have the offer, but all the options are are hilariously bad for anything decent

i just took out aiPhone se 64gb for £216.

Ive been looking to break my contract since I took up virgin unlimited data. So works out great for me or anyone that wants out of contract early.
Can always sell sell the phone too.
Edited by: "nnenne" 13th Dec 2017
Just received my phone and it’s already unlocked, using virgin sim on it.
Checked imei and it it wasn’t even activated before, so activated it, coming with full 12 months warranty.

Just requested pac code and paid £216 off, called virgin and started the porting process.

All all went smoothly.

Gonna miss o2 though, found their customer service always great
