Amazing thanks.

Seriously, what gives?

Great way to harvest personal details for spamming, especially if you spt the points system they have to get a free iPhone. Is it really worth it for a pair of tat ear phones

Superb

hope they're decent enough. thanks

Let's hope they come heat

Lol, website looks so dodgy.

Site looks well dodgy and the earphones do not look worth the risk of them having my details.

Thanx thinks dats sorted

A thousand random e-mail harvesting companies must have my details by now, part and part of being a freebie gatherer, just delete the e-mails and bin the spam post, it's worth it in my opinion for all the free goodies. Now and then, you get the ones that don't show up; for each of those, 15 do come. No big deal.

Thanks a lot! My others have just today broke on me

No problem guys. I gave them my real details too. I hope they don't misuse our details.

I have a spam email address, which I use for no other reason than to sign up for things like this. They can spam me as much as they like, as all I do is empty it every time I go in - I know nothing in there is going to be of any use. Plenty of online free emails (outlook, gmail etc etc), so set one up for yourself.

What did people put as payment method?

Going by the image they will be crap. They are the 20p earphones that you get off ebay, often 3 for price of 2 etc. People often complain about the rubbish fake apple earphones you can buy from Amazon sellers.....these will be worse and what's more the company have your email, name and home address.

Cheers op

Looks like a legit company:

Electronics-zone sends goods to you from our Uk warehouse or from our main warehouse in China. As such, you (or the consignee) are IMPORTING. In many countries this means you will be liable for import duties and other taxes. It's YOUR responsibility to find out about this, and YOUR responsibility to pay the taxes/charges on receipt of the items. Dropshippers: you must inform your customers about this in advance. Find out more about taxes and custom issues. [Ed: methinks last two sentences should have been edited; latter sentence isn't even a link, just a copy/paste from support.chinavasion.com/ind…php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=130]
Under the terms of the warranty, if a product arrives broken or develops a fault during the warranty period, you are responsible for the costs of returning it to China for repair / compensation. [Ed: I don't think so - sale of goods act etc?]

So, if you want to give an individual drop-shipper your personal details who probably doesn't conform to any DPA rules, and certainly doesn't conform to the Sale of Goods Act, then feel free.

i hate those things on public transport - i don't want to listen to other people's crappy music

I don't know how people missed this line from the link

One per buyer or your order will be voided.

Given it a go as well.
Stuff the site sells reminds of of Focal Price and DealXtreme.

Unlikely we'll receive them, but given it ago.

You realise they are free so if they don't work or arrive, it doesn't matter?

My thoughts exactly, but I'm sure all the moaners will ask for their money back

Just ordered mine.
Anything for free is a bargain if they are no good can always sell them at a profit.

Ordered mine lets wait and see if they arrive. Heat added:)

How on earth would you sell it for a profit?

The ebay fees (+postage) will be worth 10x as much as the headphones.

Wasn't the point I was making. I was just showing the supplier's methods are probably not someone you want to be giving your personal details to.

Thanks for this. Something had to give. Ain't nobody gonna give anyting for free without a catch.

Not a bad way of getting your details. Always best to use a junk email address.

You can buy these for about 16p per headphone: aliexpress.com/ite…tml

Postage will cost them 59p (Royal Mail Business account) and the Jiffy Bags will be a further 5p. Add a few more pence for handling and overhead costs then we're looking at about 85p for each of these to be delivered.

Not a bad way of getting your details to put you on their mailing list; it's also a fairly cheap way of advertising the company. Inevitably, a few will get 'lost' and by that I mean they won't bother to send the item out. And don't forget the few ££££s they'll get for selling on your details.

Having said all that, I do love a freebie.

X)

The website is so unprofessional. Why on earth would you trust them with your personal details (it's not your e-mail which is the problem, it's your address). Can't understand the desperation for some cheap, rubbish earphones.
