Free eBay Motors Listing Weekend - Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th September

It's not often you get something for free, but this weekend you can list any car (or other type of vehicle) on eBayMotors.co.uk for free, using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats. The normal Insertion Fee for vehicles is £8 each.

Terms and conditions apply.

save £8, thanks! voted hot

Been waiting for something like this to come around so I can stick my car back on eBay! Voted hot! Cheers!

This is more of a good deal for people buying cars off ebay than selling them.

The sellers save £8 - but ebay then gets flooded with cars.

More cars and the same number of buyers = cheaper auction price.

I always keep an eye out for the week after these as there are often some good bargains to be had on cars which have no reserve....

Was just about to post the same richolmes72. The times i've seen people saying 'i'll wait til 10p listing day to ebay my psp/ds/whatever' and have lost out big time on it. Absolute false economy- ebay still make from final value prices so it's no big deal for them, they're not really giving anything away.

It is good for listing at a fixed price or realistic starting price (ie what you want for the car -10%) with 'willing to negotiate on price' added to the listing.

I must admit, i'm only going to use the 'Buy It Now' with 'Best Offer' Option for 2 of my cars which I've currently got on Classifieds.

I wouldn't bother with the -10%

If you put 'willing to negotiate on price' in the listing and someone reports you eBay may remove the listing (it's against their rules) :-(

Start an auction at the minimum price you'll be happy with, then if you only get one bid you'll be OK, if you get two bids plus, it's a bonus :-D (providing they pay :-( )

*Over to you Charlie :giggle: - Thanks BTW ;-) *
