Free Ebooks Project Gutenberg

Free Ebooks Project Gutenberg :

I have seen a fair few free Ebooks from amazon, a few of these are actually free anyway as they are so old they are not copywrite protected and have become public domain.

This project aims to provide these books free to all ( free of charge and free as in freedom)

Better explained here:
https://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Gutenberg:No_Cost_or_Freedom%3F

Hope this helps some avid readers and maybe some students starting English literature courses.

The project accepts donations for those feeling kind too.

ALways good to have options.

Yes, Project Gutenberg has always been free but it's good to remind people of that resourc
Sorry probably my wording but yeah always free, post was more to give to people.

Moreover as they cost from places like amazon still
My daughter just showed me this today, probably deserves a deal on it's own if someone wants to put it up (I've no experience of the service so don't think I'm qualified to put it as a deal).

Basically you use your library card to borrow books and audiobooks, just like you would at the library.

Such a great idea, sadly my library or any close seem to support it
Have they got any free audio hooks
Not to mention openlibrary.org which has a huge selection of books available to borrow you need to download the adobe software to read them on a PC or have a compatible device but quite a few will be compatible.
Well done Steve Guttenburg.

It's online, so you don't necessarily need to use your nearest library - you won't be going to collect the books, they appear on your phone/tablet automatically and vanish 2 weeks later automatically.

For example your nearest library may be a sub-branch, or a mobile van - but if you go to the overdrive.com website and use "Find a library near me" you will usually see dozens in your region. You will need a current library card number though.

I did check the district but didn't seem like any other than a school.

As 7day said I may just try a library anywhere haha
If you install the magic catalog on your ereader you can search for and select books from Project Gutenberg from the ereader itself.

freekindlebooks.org/Mag…tml

ive used the .mobi version on Kindle and it works great.
