Thanks for the feedback, I'm interested what makes this better than yahoo, hotmail etc? I would switch if it was much better.

I don't quite understand the one login bit, I currently have about 6 yahoo e-mail addresses that I check and would be interested in a way to only log in once but still keep them seperate for their seperate purposes if that makes sense.

I guess what I'm saying is can you set yahoo e-mail addresses to all forward to one collective address for checking so I only need to log into the extras when I want to send an e-mail. I would still need a copy to remain at each e-mail address tho.

Also would I still need to log in once a month to keep the yahoo e-mail addresses live? Would checking them on gmx change their status to read on yahoo e-mail or would I suddenly have loads of unread on yahoo?

Once you have a GMX account, GMX has a mail collector service whereby it channels all your e-mail accounts within GMX, you can set it to delete any mail in your other account once it has been tranferred to GMX or you can leave it there, you can send e-mails from your different accounts via GMX and much much more, I still use my old e-mail addresses when asked /required when filling in on a site but I just go into GMX to pick up the replies ..... try it you have nothing to lose.:)

It like having a outlook or thuindbird service on line

each account is kept separate with its own stuff but you only log in once and all account are shown in a tree format

It seems really good, it's taking quite a few trys to add each one of my yahoo e-mail addresses though which is a bit worrying.

I assume I'll still need to log in to each one once a month to keep them live? But this will keep them nicely in one window and save me keep logging into them all.

For those sites that require it I use lettermelater.com/?email to send an e-mail every month or so. :-D
I haven't logged into any of my sites separately since I started using GMX.

Gonna try it for the single login service, but from a few test the rest doesn't look so good. Took quite a while for a test e-mail to arrive, even when I kept clicking check mail. Most of my previous e-mails have arrived at the wrong time, ie they appear to have just arrived when they actually arrived months ago, the other half of the e-mails have the right date.

The spam filter appears to be awful, lots in there that's good stuff, lots not in there which is utter carp. Will probably stick to logging in a few times with yahoo.

Oh, and over half my e-mail addresses refuse to add to it for some reason. Have been trying for around an hour now.

What's that for? Thought you could send an e-mail with this to look like it came from each e-mail address?

Personally I'd keep logging in to yahoo, could lose over 5,000 e-mails just in the inbox let alone folders if I didn't log in once a month!

The Lettermelater site means I dont have to remember to send an e-mail, it does it automatically for as long as I have selected.
I would suggest that you use it intially for a couple of e-mail accounts until you get confident and then you can add more.:)

Looks good, but I can't for the life of me think of a reason I would want to delay sending an e-mail. If it was to myself for a reminder I would write a "to do" on my phone or get googlemail to text me at a specific time etc.

I've used them for a couple of months, service is good with them

same here, single sign on for all of my e-mail accounts , been using for a couple of months now

It is worth noting that GMX has won the praise of the industry in terms of security also as it is harder to crack than the wet paper bags offered by Hotmail and Yahoo
