From 1st-12th December 2018, we’re acknowledging all the dedicated, hard work of our country’s Armed Forces, Emergency Services and NHS employees over the upcoming busy Christmas period.
FREE entry is available on the gate only, upon presentation of a valid MOD Card, Police Warrant I.D Card, Forces Discount Card, Defence Discount Card, Veterans Card, Blue Light Card or NHS Staff Card

Heat for this kind gesture from the zoo. The zoos in Kent are so damn expensive I stopped going years ago, not much change from £100 for a day out with the kids there.
are kids included? T&C are not comprehensive.

Never really understood this... I mean yes they do a great job however, what about the unemployed, disabled, charity workers or the elderly? Or bin men or anyone really? Why not allow access to everyone with a nominal charge, seems like a fairer way to attract a wider audience.

To be fair, there are a lot of hard working undervalued people in those service type industries doing amazing jobs, so I definitely don't hold it against them. My Mrs is a nurse and we'll be taking advantage of this.

As for offering it to everyone, I guess you gotta draw the line somewhere
