Thought this had been posted before

Once had a tour of the Bank of England. Great place to visit. Just wish we had some gold reserves there.

Can somebody please link all the theme parks that are included. Thanks.

Our current gold reserves are estimated at £8.2 Billion pounds (June 2013) .

Thanks for posting - some good stuff near me

I went on the London Open day last year and highly recommend it. There are hundreds of places to visit, and many of them are not normally open to the general public, or are places you might not normally feel comfortable entering on your own. For example, I visited the Ismaili mosque in South Kensington, which I would not normally go to because I am not a Muslim, visited a Coptic church and visited the head office of HSBC private bank in St James (formerly the Conservative club) which I wouldn't go to because I don't have enough money to be one of their customers! Definitely worth a visit. You will need to plan your day if doing the London open day because it is impossible to see more than a small percentage of all the interesting places on offer in one day.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day out last year! I hope you will find some equally interesting places to visit this year. Enjoy!!!!
PS Did you get any free samples at the HSBC private bank????

Hang on! Londoners have to pay £7.50 for a Booklet which lists the 'free' buildings to visit, what a con Boris!

cheers

This is an annual event which has been going on for years successfully in September. It caters to all people not just families and children.

Thanks so much for posting. Just booked Mersey Tunnel Tour. Really looking forward to it now. Thanks again.
