I was in my local B&Q in Watford, and saw the subjected deal on a poster. It looks like it is sponsored by British Gas. Looks truly fantastic to me, but unfortunately could not read the small prints to see how many per customer is applicable.

Nice one....

Well im not rating this as I have heard nothing in regards to this, I work on the Returns Desk is Culverhouse Cross Store, and if anything is said I would know!

thanks.

sounds great. only need one standard (hard to find) screw in bulb for a lamp and my entire flat is (light) efficient.

British Gas and B&Q held a lightbulb amnesty in London at the beginning of the year. Could this be an old poster?

Even though the bulbs are energy saving, I can't see how putting perfectly good old lightbulbs into landfill is going to do the environment any good, but never mind!

Voted hot from me

Please un-expire this; it hasn't even started!!

Please note there aren't any indication on the website; it was a poster in store!

I had the same problem with r80 spots that the previous house owner had installed

B&Q et al wanted nearly £20 a bulb

found some at screwfix.com ( which is actually local!) @ 6.99 each and they work a treat ( slight 2-3 sec heat up)

so I have paid £21 versus £60

Yeah just saw this. Bizarrely, if you buy one - its 50p - as a couple of (non HUKD) shoppers were doing - nonces!

8p each, plus a fraction of Tesco points!

Just spoke to my local B&Q, and they told me that this offer is definitely on, but only for this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Will be on a first come first served basis until they run out. I also enquired if i could bring in 4 bulbs to exchange for 8 ES bulbs, and was told that would be ok as long as wasn't any more than that.
So this deal should NOT be expired.

Rep to the OP for this excellent offer.

Screwfix and b+q are owned by the same company and b+q will price match to scrwwfix catalogue, hope that helps for future.
