Free Eye Test at Specsavers

Free Eye Test Vouchers for your local Specsavers. Search for your local store and then click on it to see details about the store, on this page, there should be a link for a free Eye test voucher. I am however aware that not all stores are doing this deal so check a few near you and hope for the best, I tried many in my local and all were free.

thanks for posting, will come in handy for my daughter who is at uni and cant afford to pay for a test.

Tesco opticians also do free eye tests, and you don't need a voucher

No free ones near me, but thanks for posting.

As a student she may be entitled to free/help with NHS costs.
When going to Uni., our dentist advised my son to complete form HC1 ( re. his low/no income) for exemption from prescriptions, dental and eye tests fees. Had to re-apply each academic year, but certainly worth it.
Forms available from GP surgeries, dentist etc.

Hope this helps her

Specsavers are a franchise so realistically they can't all be judged to be the same....and knowing someone who used to work for Tesco's Opticians the same horror stories come from pretty much every large operator. The sheer number of customers coming in means that individual patient care can suffer because individuals matter less.

Which? investigations would recommend Independent Opticians above big chain stores though for quality of care and service offered....

the voucher is on the website, go to specsavers.co.uk/sto…es/ STORE HERE#/free-eye-test
replace #YOUR STORE HERE# with your store name, e.g. specsavers.co.uk/sto…est would be for the oldham store. not all stores for free eye tests

Hmm, the ones near me (London) are only doing £5 eye tests, not free eye tests. Still, not a bad deal though.

However, you do know that regardless of how much you pay for your eye test - there's going to be a bit of a hard sell at the end to try to get you to buy new glasses or contacts!

Having said that, Specsavers prices aren't that bad at all IMO. However, I find that the lenses they use are their own brand, so if you're looking for premium branded lenses you might be out of luck at specsavers.

Amazing X)

Your missing the point ... + kinda depends on your 'angle'? .
Specsavers only do peoples body parts .. whereas Tesco traditionally have never had? .. thats the obvious difference? lol.

But its alllllll good though .. what what i've seen, the Tesco one is kinda ok still? .. so no big ..... :-)

Had mine done at Specsavers Borehamwood - very impressed with the service. They even tested my current driving glasses and said they were still ok.
They did try to sell me glasses at the end but it wasn't a hard sell at all.
Also was surprised to be given a card with my prescription on it, which means I could go anywhere and get glasses without another test.

looks like Northampton aren't doing any free eye tests. shame

thank you.

£10 eye tests near me -.-

Thanks for this. Asked the woman in Specsavers if eye tests were free when you bought glasses of which the answer was no.

A quick search on Google as she was adjusting the frames and £20 saved in two minutes!

thanks for your comment Johniii. i got a code and am getting £10 off my text. God bless you

Brill. got £10 test for Lancaster site.Thank you.
