my nearest neither ............. so not fair !!

thanks sorted

Thought this would be a great idea for tomorrow with my 3 children and hubby in tow.
Turns out entrance fee applies of £30+
Not free so not happy and not going :-(

moo to this!

most farms should be free ,i'm very surprised at farms charging , our group have done these for quite a few years for free and is a great day for children to meet the animals and see how a modern fam is run ,inc tractor rides in most cases.
Katie4uk can i ask what area you live in? , free farm sunday should be just that .

I have lots of local farms listed, how do you determine if it's free or not?

omg I wish I had known sooner in advance, Glebelands City Growers is near me!! I think I'll bring the family there anyway, move some other plans around

oh wait are all the farms listed free? or only some of them??

EDIT: Nvm figured it out, sorry for the double post. For others that are having the same concern, when you search for farms, you can click "Click here for details", and then it'll give you all the info like hours of operation and admission cost (In my case, free!!)

It doesn't state it's free today, just normal pricing!!!And it's not even cheap.lol

Yep just double checked because I thought they can't possibly charge.
Would cost me hubby and 3 children under 6 £31!!!!!!!!!
Shock Horror

we went to cobble hey today near preston, was good, got to hold the baby chicks and feed the lambs and play with the calfs and baby goats, watch some sheep shearing, i had lots of fun (i'm 25, got my dad to take me, lol)
was funny on the drive in as the cows were loose, one massive cow stood in the middle of the road and wouldnt move, we had to wait for it to decide to let us pass.
all we paid for was two coffees and a cake

Great day out :-)

went, was not free it was £5 for over 15's and was not much to do but was well organized.
knew about it before the post

Sounds like someone is gonna be a pig at this
