I did, but it got moved to discussions by mods.
Think you are on ADSL not fibre then.
500 millibits?
m = Milli
M = Mega
Same here.
Crimea river
On the plus side you have some nice illuminations to look at
Genuinely made me laugh
A lot of Blackpool has good FTTC or VM coverage, you must be a edge case
What contract you on, and are you doing the test over Wi-Fi or cable connection
The woke brigade deleted my comment, the admin team are really a bunch of snow flakes on here, but Yh still surprised they get 1gig
I'm using a WiFi 6 Router plus the speed is 500mb I'm getting it right. 55000kb/s approx 500mb speed wise
London gets way too much of everything as it is already.
Check the sam knows website for the most accurate availability for your post code.
FY6 is a huge ares
It’s needed everywhere even large parts of London don’t get 1gig internet, only the beautiful area called Bradford does ( the woke snow flakes brigade of Hukd wouldn’t let me post my original description of Bradford )
Heaton and Dudley Hill the first areas I believe
Nearest house that is, is only 0.3 miles away.
ADSL-like. I am on the maximum speed I can get from plus net which is like something from the year 2000.
Not really, I used to live in Cambridge and had Virgin. Still abysmal and £50 a month
Brilliant offer though, so heat from me 😜
It's where the money is ...init bro
Are you sure? Notice the capital B in their screenshot, Byte not Bit. That screenshot is a person getting 55 MB/sec or about 440 Mbps. I don't think FTTC can provide that given the distance the copper has to travel and issues like crosstalk etc.
No it just has better infrastructure than Blackpool.
Been following them a while, since I have a download speed of 24 😡
