I think the latter part of your statement may be the reason it's not available in Glasgow/Scotland

Yea that's a shame, I would have been well up for this.
Nothing in the North East (what a surprise!).

Its because you have to be sober by water.
I must be missing something, it says there are over 200 events, but only 24 are shown in the list.

I only just came across this. Maybe the majority of the dates have already passed in early August... Bookmark it and see if they repeat it again next summer holidays in 2020.

come on, why is everything turning so domesticated and highly sensitive; I’m a Male I want to try it out, catch and eat my find?? learning how to hunt and cook raw meals is definitely something I’d wanna learn

Mate I don't see a problem with catch and eat. However I don't think canal is the best place for that.

I'm allowed to take 2 fish a day on my club membership but that's only from river and has restrictions.

In the past i've taken a grayling and a trout for tea. Recently i've caught brown trout to 2.5lb but released them. Just takes too much effort prepping.

The brownie gave a heck of a fight. Thought I hooked a 5lb fish at first.

where have you booked for the Thames? Which site, as I am London based and can't see one.

Here is a river option drviveable from London, on the river Thame (no 's' on the end) , in Shabbington, nr Aylesbury:

Booked 3 for Shabbington Aylesbury. Always wanted to do fishing. Thanks OP
If your keen to get into fishing but non of these venues / dates are suitable. It maybe worthwhile reaching out to your local angling club to see if they have any introduction to fishing days planned.

I'm near Watford, but can't seem to find that one on the list. My son would love it

It was by Cassiobury Park, I've checked the list and I also can't see it. There weren't loads of places left so maybe when it gets full, they remove it from the list?
