Free flight with Post Office credit card

Found 3rd Mar 2011
Quite certain this is the ideal place. Wanted to put in freebies but you hav to pay 'airport taxes' Just been doing my local eBay stuff at PO and got wind of this promotion.

Below is what the leaflet says (a quick summary). Will update a pic asap.

Not sure if it is a good offer as I don't fly often so no idea what airport taxes are like nowadays.

Credit Card
The exciting news is that from Monday 28th February the return flight offer will be promoted in this branch, which may be used until 27th March 2011. With this promotion every customer who is approved for one of our Credit Cards will receive a return flight* to Europe with their new card in an offer launched this week. All they have to do is enter the participating branch code below (162427X) and 'FLIGHT' in the promotional box when prompted on the online application system. Customers will have the choice of flying from any UK airport (subject to flight route) direct to one of these six capital cities - Dublin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris or Madrid.

!If your struggling to find a participating branch code the one listed on the leaflet is 162427X

* excludes airport taxes and passenger charges.

Also don't forget quidco!

I think the least people could do is leave a comment if they vote cold! Some people!!!!

have some heat to compensate!
Don't think this anything special as even if you don't mind getting yet another card the flights before taxes are not worth that much.
I have 2 free flights with my Flybe credit card, won't ever use them though. The airport taxes alone are far more than you can pay for a Ryanair flight.

I've just booked a return to Croatia for just under £30. The taxes and fees alone with BA is over £100.

I know BA is a better airline (though I still think the leg room on economy long haul wasn't noticeably different to Ryanair economy) - but as the price doesn't include their fare it should be representative.
