You're welcome sofiamary

Bah! Nothing from Liverpool or Manchester.

Thanks for the pointer Cat

Ah, ppl... Think 10x before flying with RA.
It is one of the worst airlines + lots of hidden charges!!!!!!

And one more thing:
HAHN IS NOT FRANKFURT!!! It is more than 100 miles from Frankfurt...
So, if you are flying form LHR to FRA YOU should always check Lufthansa first.
I've never paid more than 80-130 quid EVEN for same day/next day flight.

Adding Taxes + car/bus + TIME you will pay MORE than simple flight with Lufthansa.
And don't forget that you do have MANY flights (ever 1-2 hours) with Lufthansa and just one with Ryan Air...

btw. I'm flying quite often between LHR/FRA.

Cheers
Chris

Just make sure you fly to where you think you are going. Ryanair notorious at dumping you miles from where you thought you would end up. I was looking to go to Dusseldorf, the place you end up is over 50 miles away!

I agree with Chris, I won't be flying with Ryanair again. Went to Hahn and it is not even classed as Frankfurt by the Germans lol. Don't like the hidded charges they sneak in under your nose either. At least with the other budgets, like EasyJet, the amount you end up paying is roughly the same amount they quote you at the beginning. Anyhow, sorry to whinge...just be aware of all this before you book.

flown with ryanair many times never had any ploblems total air fares are lots cheaper than the other budgit airlines often less than half the price.they do state where you are flying to surely you would check before booking flight?

Andy,

I'm half German so I know what I'm talking about.

The cheapest ticket will be around 30-40 quid +24 euro + 2 hours each way (at least, cant remember now). Don't forget about one-flight-per-day to Hahn (it is not even Hessen).

The route from D-64390 Erzhausen to Flughafen Frankfurt-Hahn, D-55483 Lautzenhausen/Hahn is 76 mi long. Journey time is 1 h 31 min. (Options: faster car/driver, most economic route)

If you don't have a car you need BOHR bus or taxi (expensive). Bus needs 2 hours at least to get to the Fra Hbf.

As I said- flying with Lufthansa you are looking to pay around 80 -100quid. You do have at least 8 flights per day, free meal + drinks + alcohols + bigger seats + better service.
AND you don't have to commute to Stansted...

I can't see why ppl are voting this deal as a HOT.
It is NOT hot at all!!! Same price for Lufthansa + less time spent on roads...

Cheers

Then RA should advertise this as a HAHN.
btw. Hahn is ran by same company as a Flughafen Frankfurt am Main.

this flight may not be best for FRANKFURT can see your point but often people just require that area of germany and often alternative airport is better for them.As for saying RA arer a bad airline cant see what your getting at i have never been late with then more than i can say with air berlin easy jet and charter arlines they have never canceled my flights .Also dublin £14.26 verona (bresica)£ 19.00
many times to france both south and north £25.00 or less plus many more destinations .I have looked at the other cheap airlines they dont come anywher close to these air fares and have much higher hidden cost,s RA have always got me there on time every time and VERY cheap that cant be bad can it??

Voted hot / rep given

- they dont just got to frankfurt hahn
- I've never had ANY hidden charges (I stay inside weight limits on luggage etc) and have only ever paid the price on the website!
- Take it at face value, they show where they are flying to and show charges. It is a cheap flight so expect no food/booze/entertainment (take a bottle of water and an MP3 player!)
- Germany is a lovely place to goto, I recommend the Hamburg-Lubeck area for a romantic weekend it a lovely town! (and a bus to the town centre from outside the airport is only a couple of euros!)

Travel Period: Fri 16th Mar - Sat 30th Jun
