Especially the ones that work at the Greggs HQ/Plant in Gosforth, as they'll be getting plenty of overtime!

45p (personally can't stand the paper, the new "i" paper at 20p is better in every way!)
Voted hot!
They did this last year with the Daily Mirror and a better selection of products.

Wednesday's "bloomer aandwich" looks interesting (_;)

And the 'meat' is so pumped full of water, you get a drink at the same time!

I'd eat **** before getting a free Greggs from that filthy rag.

Excellent, I'll book a table immediately.

Aahhh, the caviar scoffing intellectual elite have blessed this thread with their collective tabloid inspired wisdom, we are truly humbled.

This is how you post a witty comment:

Great deal just a shame the Daily Express is a pretty poor read

uggh not dreggs...

This deal seems to have attracted the same people
who like bringing down deals on pot noodles etc

Nevasleep

You doughnut the joke?

I'm all game for puns and wordplay but next time say it out loud before posting as that was awful.

woop woop walk to work with flat opposite corner shop then opposite work is greggs. think i'll b gettin this next week.

How pathetic are the folk who come on these threads to pontificate and give their unsolicited opinions about the subject matter?! Can I remind them that this is a website for posting DEALS and BARGAINS, yet saddoes still click on posts purely to criticise. Listen up; NOONE CARES ABOUT YOUR BORING AND POINTLESS OPINIONS. The only criteria should be - is this a good deal for those who like the Daily Express and Greggs' Food? If you like neither, why bother coming on here to sneer? Are you that desperate for attention?

LOL

The chicken and stuffing lattice is so tasty. Nearly as good as there festive bakes!!!

I thought the chicken stuffing lattice was ok, pretty good, I'm a sucker for stuffing though. Will be back Wednesday.

Maybe I'm unusual, but everything I've ever had from Greggs tasted as cheap and nasty as I expected it would. I wouldn't eat anything from that shop anymore if it were free, so their success baffles me - it can only rest on the fact that a sizeable proportion of the population just like, or are prepared to eat, any old crap as long as it's cheap.

The company originated in Gosforth, Newcastle --- and a common sight in Newcastle City Centre, and other parts of the North East, is to see the ubiquitous chav/single, benefit dependant mothers smoking a fag, uttering four letter expletives to their crying child in a pushchair (with oversized wheels), whilst the said child sucks on a Greggs sausage roll. Sadly, it's part of the region's heritage.

8)gr8 selection of products just love a weekly deal at only 45p this is gr8 and such a bargain and we just luv the daily express so even better(_;)
