I don't read other peoples posts either, so I don't even know what you asked, never mind the answer.

"Cancel anytime during your 7-day free trial and you won't be charged."

Yeah but no.

I've had Origin access before for a month and it allowed me to sign up again for this trial.

Guess one can't complain too much for free but could they make the trial any shorter, well 24 hours I guess, but unless you can play for several hours everyday you aren't going to get any real appreciation of the games catalogue in 7 days, 14 would have been a lot more reasonable but I guess they figured some might get their fill and not bother subscribing....

Great deal, thank you OP!

I 'missed' this the last time it was on - went to activate the trial a few hours before they were due to end the sign-up period but they had ended it early. Their customer services didn't help at all. Would suggest anyone interested in the trial activates it sooner rather than later in case they end it before the timer runs out on the top of the sign-up page.

Nice one OP, was thinking of paying for a month just to play Fifa on a football free Sunday

I think 7 days is the sweet spot. If you play games enough to get good value out of a subscription but you're on the fence (which is who this is aimed at), you'll play enough in 7 days to know whether or not you want to. If you don't play enough you're probably not going to subscribe anyway. I might give this a go, but there's virtually no chance of me subscribing afterwards because I don't have enough time nowadays to make it worth my while.

£3.99 a month isn't bad. I'd be tempted at that price just for FIFA, since I usually only play it between seasons. The catalog still seems a bit limited though.

Can you sign up and then immediately cancel and get the 7 days?

Thanks

Very nice, but with my **** internet speeds, by the time I've downloaded any games my trial period would be up oO

Worth noting this about Mass Effect Andromeda from the site.

"Play Mass Effect: Andromeda now with Origin Access

Join now to try Origin Access FREE for 7 days.
Play Mass Effect: Andromeda for a full 10 hours and your progress carries over.
The trial includes full multiplayer access plus a chance to meet your squad and explore your first planet in single-player.
Save 10% if you decide to buy the full game."

So you can only play it for 10 hours with this..

It's not so much that you can play it for 10 hours. You can only play a certain part of the game which caps off after around 2 and a half hours.

Be advised, if you have had an Origin trial of sorts before you will be charged as this offer sadly doesn't apply to you
