I've been listening to the British History Podcast for around 2 years and we still haven't reached 1066. It's so comprehensive and detailed and the presenter Jamie makes it so interesting. Well worth a listen.

Thanks O/P, have downloaded. I love perusing things like this.

There's only been British monarchs since 1707, so not a thousand years.

Aww bless, you're on the wrong site if you don't like other people's opinions.
The UK a real meritocracy, unlected heads of state, heridatary peers, Bishops in the upper house. Government filled with the same old Oxbridge network. Always playijng catch up and resent not being able to boss the rest of the world like the good old days
Thank you for sharing
