I've heard Google have signed an exclusive agreement with Kelloggs to bundle these (as a surprise) with a 750g box of cornflakes over the festive period. Look out for the packs that weight slightly more than 750g because the Mini will be inside... /joking/

Ask Google.

Don't be ridiculous. It will be a code on the inside of the box.

Nope, I accidentally ate my Google mini for breakfast.

Nest is 150 from a few places so evening paying for a mini is still cheaper than 219 that nest charges however…

I’m holding out for the free with a Christmas cracker promotion.

I have been thinking of getting the smoke/co2 alarm, so this could be useful
Thanks OP

What shops can you get the Nest for £150? I missed out on the Black Friday deals so looking for a Nest at this price. Cheapest I’ve found is £175

The wife will be delighted - should make you more receptive to her requests.

Is this some thing you claim or is it included? My Nest literally arrived yesterday from Nest direct.

The Screwfix deal has expired. You can still get a free stand, but the thermostat has gone back up to £200.

It will keep your cat entertained for hours

Not a deal because you can buy any nest product and the home mini separately for less

Is this offer direct from Nest only? Or can I buy a Nest Protect from Amazon and get the Mini?

In fairness it's a great offer if you're buying Nest Protects

I've been considering a second nest protect for a while, anyone know what the current cheapest deal is for one?

Nest is the brand name not the product, so please don’t state Nest is 150, as this is ignorant.

Nest Cam IQ is £299 from Nest directly and Nest protect is £109.

I had the nest thermostat free from npower last year, it’s absolutely great!

I work for screwfix £149.99 was a Black Friday offer and only in silver it’s now gone back up to 199...

funny how the nest nest website is higher price then just about every other retailer though??

Can you point me to £150 Nest?

Nest thermostat with professional installation is £239 (with free mini thrown in) compared to their black friday deal of £219 with installation. So you're paying £20 for mini. But still a good deal if you are going to buy nest which is usually £279 with installation. voted hot!

If this is true. They will just have a draw or a token collect offer. They will never include it in the box

I think it largely depends on your boiler and existing thermostat set up.
The Nest instructions list several different wiring configurations for different boiler types so you need to figure out which one you need to follow first.
For me, it was extremely easy as the wiring was very similar to my existing thermostat, so was pretty much a straight swap and took me about 30 mins.
But for other setups, it may involve opening up the boiler to wire in some new cables etc which unless you know what you are doing I wouldn't advise.

My advice, have a look on Google for "<boiler model> nest install" and see what is involved for your specific scenario and then decide if you want to attempt it.
I was lucky and found someone on a DIY forum who had my exact combination of boiler, thermostat and wiring setup so I knew exactly what was involved before purchasing on Black Friday.

Could you point any of these out as amazon maplin and screfix are back up to £199.

I got the Black Friday deal from Screwfix and it took me less than 20 minutes to install. I’m just a DIY’er. Hope this helps

That's was a class response hahahahahaah

How difficult is the installation?

I am fairly techy and I did mine, but somewhere along the way I screwed something up. After 2 days I said screw it and got a local nest pro to set it up. He found some serious wiring problems in my house which is nothing unusual being the previous owner appears to be a DIY failure. Worst thing I did was blow a fuse since the boiler is hardwired. cost my £80 for a full install and rewiring which was well worth. I love my Nest and rate it better than Tado which I have had for about 3 years.

Anyone done a heatmiser to nest migration? I wonder if it's just a straight swap, I already have the wireless heatmiser
